Downloaded Files Returned to 0 After The Updates

Good Day to my fellow players...  I hope you have time to help my problem...

 

My net was a bit rusty so you could understand my dilemma .  I downloaded the installer like a month ago...  I just downloaded 1 out of 3 downloadable files needed... It was 26GB or something... Last 2 weeks... It said I need to download the 2/3 files and it was 4.2GB all in all.. AS of last last wednesday,  my downloaded files was at 2.3gb... Then when there was an update last last  Wednesday... It went back to 0 and it start again from scratch.  I dont know what happened... Si I downloaded again last Thursday.  When I  nearly had 1.7 GB as of last night. This morning, I got an update again... And when its time to download the ramaining files,  It returned back to 0 once more... I don't know what I did wrong...   I dont want to leave it behind because I have to go to work... And Im afraid my PC will have a short circuit or something...  Is there anyway to retain my downloaded files even when the update comes ???   Please help anyone...
