Ping issues with new computer

So I recently purchased a new laptop and while it's running the game 5x better than my older computer my ping has just been awful. Having both of them side by side my old computer can consistently hit 90ms (wireless) from a ping test to dallas while my new one never manages to get under 200ms (wired or wireless).

 

For the older computer there is also next to no 'jitter' (less than 5) while the new has over 200ms in 'jitter'.

Can you please give the specs from your older computer and new one? I'm currently having the same issue and still looking for a fix.
