Unable to start the launcher (already used search function)

Hello,

 

I downloaded the game from the download section on the main page and installed the launcher smoothly.

 

However, after I enter my email and password and press log in, nothing happens. The launcher doesn't come up at all.

 

I've redownloaded several times, restarted my computer, but nothing seems to work.

 

I've also tried to run the game on administrator, as well as deactivate my anti virus. None have remedied the issue.

 

I've used the search function and googled my issue, but nobody seems to have found a solution. The only thing that I found was that the patcher was updated by NC Soft twitter, but I'm assuming I am using the updated patcher since I dled directly off their site.

 

My specs are windows 7 ultimate, 64 bit. I meet the system requirements the game has.
