Cant see friend

Hello,

 

I added my friend I can see him on friend list as well as in the party. However when I go near him hes completely unseen. We are in the same sub server which is Cardinal gates. Any ideas? P.S we are both in channel 1

I have same problem. I came her seeking the answer to this very question. It seems it is still unanswered. I went to hook up with my friend and I added her and we made a party and I saw her icon on the map and I went to it and was standing right on top of it but could not see her. I saw other players running around, as did she, but we could not see each other. We were both in the same server and channel. We are both level 3. Area was Bamboo beach. I don't think I will continue if I cant even see my friend lol. What a joke.
