[Lyn's crashing the game]

I thought I would create a new character and wanted to look at what there was as I have played a small number of classes but when I clicked on the Lyn, the game would crash right away! I am guessing this is to do with the new update and not a bug, right? Many people want the new Lyn class. Is this happening to anyone else?

I placed this here as I was not sure where to put this but when I press Start Game it just says games undergoing maintenance but I checked on twitter and it says everything is back up and running. I have no idea what to do to sort this out and not sure if it is a bug in the system.
