You've probably already made it, but here it is anyway for anyone who gets lost too: the prison entrance is outside the Faircloud Ebondrake Hold. It is precisely where the name "Faircloud Ebondrake Hold" is on the map. You go around outside to the top towards the sea and you will find the entrance in the wall.
