Venomous Thrasher grab animation glitch

I went to fight the Venomous Thrasher earlier, and this weird glitch occured when he grabbed my character. It was essentially the move where he swallows your character and spits them out, but the character just floats on the ground instead of the animation playing out appropriately. So far, everything else seems to play out fine in the animation field but that one move.
