Battlepass <- complete garbage rewards?

Dont even know what devs are thinking for this BP. based on the list on the website, all the rewards there are literally complete horses***. and many of the items are already dated long ago. 

 

I dont even get how the other 2 events cming like soul boost and candyland are giving more useful rewards than this BP which gives completely nothing very useful except basic upgrade mats. and i would hate to see the difference between premium" and non premium". *SWIPE $55 USD. lels

 

Even if your a new player, I can tell you safely dont swipe for BP. it aint worth, all the stuff u can easily get yourself by running the content. 

 

Literally everything on the list you can farm easily in some form or another, just by sleeping in DGs or running basic AD runs. Unless the quantity for the mats are really high, this was a complete mistake. They need to really look at it properly what players actually need or want, these trash mats literally are worthless. Sure the basic 

 

Let alone asking 4400ncoin = $55 USD for premium, my god lols. Paying for prem membership and still gotta swipe another $55 for premium BP rofls. 

 

Nothing better than devs rushing cash grab content because of the need for $$$$$$. ah BNS in 2022, i see the direction you are going. barely the year has started and we already got a massive milking session about to begin on 19th of Jan first major update of 2022. 

 

 

*edit BP premium is actually 2400ncoin = $30 USD.  4400ncoin is the package with the premium, pet and battle potions. 🤦‍♂️

 

the motto at the end of the day, dont swipe for BP premium unless your desperate for basic mats or St00pid (no offense to anyone 😏). There is probs even going to be a large disparity in the rewards between those f2p or those who buy the plaque which is the premium.

 

If you even play the game long enough, you will see that all the mats in the description are easily obtainable. there is nothing new, rather jst go do soul boost event or candyland at least thats good even for an alt.

 

Items on BP with crap or good rating out of 10 according to my experiences in this game (late gamer already):

 

1/10-Soulstone Crystal 

1/10-Sacred Crystal

1/10-Moonstone Crystal

1/10-Elysian Crystal

 

*get this mat anywhere doing nearly anything DG related, can sleep in a DG and get it dropped in even EZ dungeons. 

 

1/10-Flame Skystealer Crystal

1/10-Ocean Skystealer Crystal

1/10-Earth Skystealer Crystal

1/10-Wind Skystealer Crystal

1/10-Nature Skystealer Crystal

1/10-Lightning Skystealer Crystal

 

*unless u never run AD or never plan to, though i doubt anyone would not run AD this mat is literally u get in every single run of AD as basic reward even in EZ DG 3x per day daily.

 

 

3/10-Elder Scale

3/10-Nocturnal Scale

 

*unless ur desperate for scales, u get these in every single DG runs or AD run, get even 5 boxes of this every run. do ur dailies and u can easily get 30 boxes per day minimum with either 4 elder frags or 2 noct frags per box.

 

5/10-Searing Hongmoon Etching Stone Chest

 

*Semi-ok reward but etchings are not really too important unless ur already min-maxing. pointless unless ur really endgame, gold better spent elsewhere.

 

8/10-Silversteel Ore

 

*as most ppl and the basic game is putting ppl at silversteel weapon tier, this is the prime reward but how many will it give is the real question. especially between free or premium. though i doubt they would give enough for all silversteel weapon stages without running the raid or sourcing ores elsewhere. though i could be wrong. summary this is probs for a lot of ppl the main reward or interest.

 

1/10-Legendary Element

1/10-Wonder Radiance Stone Chest

 

*unless ur desperate for these, these can be easily obtained from events or jst daily content. can even trade elysians crystals for elements in dragon express so why is this even here? waste of time.

 

1/10-Hongmoon Quick XP Charm

1/10-Eminence Reputation Charm

1/10-Premier Hongmoon XP Charm

1/10-Premier Reputation Charm

 

*depending on how far you are in ur unity level or HM level, 😒 . you get these from dailies or craft them. the onli positive thing is their getting rid of the cooldowns for charms. so at least u can mass spam them, otherwise u get these in a lot of places easily.

 

 

2/10-Soulstone

2/10-Sacred Orb

3/10-Moonstone

3/10-Elysian Orb

*Same as the crystal versions, u get these jst from doing the content everywhere. At least these are sellable on market which makes them slightly better.

 

 

6/10-Searing Grandmaster's Etching Stone

 

*Same as previous, unless min maxing this is pretty much worthless till late game.

 

 

8/10-Sacred Vial

 

*Can never have enough oils for heart and soul upgrades, but then again with new tier heart no longer using this, becomes more redundant the higher gear u are. 😔

 

7/10-Synthesis Stone

 

*Meh, only useful in upgrading AD accessories, then again like most players gold is probs your biggest pain in upgrading rather than getting these synth stones. AD accessories massive gold sink the higher + lvl u go, 

 

1/10-Imperial Soju

?/10-Kaebi Charm

1/10-Honing Oil

1/10-Pristine Oil

 

*Trash garbage that fills inventory slots, unless u need the + ap for 30 mins from the soju, the rest u can get from doing dailies every single day. Kaebi charm wtf is this but as it is a charm, unlikely to be useful in any sort of gear progression, therefore trash.

 

9/10-Premium Transformation Stone

 

*the rock of the ages, that just never seems to die. The rock that is older than the NA BNS server, You will need this rock in ur gear progression regardless of stage ur at, buyable on market but not cheap. Unless they decide to only give it on premium BP to screw f2p players over. 🤔

Either way because of how valuable this rock is, doubt they will give you much of it in the BP let alone the f2p BP.

 

5/10-Hongmoon Gem Powder

 

*Hard to say how useful this is to you, unless ur in the process of upgrading gems. you will most likely be selling this on market for gold because its worthless otherwise. especially if ur newer player, upgrading gems wont be too much of a priority than gear. Gems give cheap AP but gear u will still need to progress regardless of gems.

 

 

7/10-Dark Whisper

7/10-Dark Whisper Mask

 

*Probs the main thing most ppl will do BP for, though i have a feeling that it may onli be a premium reward in that case, not worth at all. If this is onli on premium then you pretty much swiping $30 for this costume which clearly aint worth it because the other stuff in BP are garbo and it better look ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ amazing cause the last few costumes from bns have been terrible. 

 

 

 

All in all, think carefully before you swipe for this as based on the current details of the BP it is definitely not worth it for the premium. jst gives u stuff u can easily farm urself except 1 or 2 things.

afaik you get a lot of mats, like we are talking abot 5000 MS/EC and over 10000 SS/SC and such. A lot of Vials and Pods. It probably will be worth the 4400 NCoins. But this is NCSoft, so we never know. It could also be an translation... sorry i mean, it is highly to expect that the whole listing is just a translation error by its self and we probably get completely different rewards.

 

Never trust the patch notes ever in this game.

Tbh i doubt the quantities for those mats will be that high in the pass, let alone im afraid to see the difference between the f2p BP and the premium BP lels tomorrow. BNS nowadays has never been as generous to players as they were 5-6 years ago, when game first started. nowadays its just how to maximise profit but keeping the gear progression low to keep players locked into the game. 

 

continuous packages and new bundles/ "deals". At most for me personally, the only thing that would even interest me at this point is the class change voucher lels. 

 

Im sure there's gonna be a world of difference between the two to entice ppl to buy it. if the costume is premium onli, then screw the BP. not gonna bother even considering swiping.

After looking at the BP, As expected everything i had feared has become true. 

 

1. The costume is premium only, and tbh it doesnt look amazing at all. 

2.  basic BP is jst shitty crap basic mats, and the amounts are so miniscule. 

3. literally only the good rewards like insig boxes are in premium, but even the amount is quite low 5 normal insig boxes and 1 large insig box. 

 

Summary: Blatant cash grab. dont expect good stuff without paying $30 for premium as expected. 😑 sad they went this direction.

First of all, open your eyes before you start crying.

The battle plaque is 2400 ncoins, the BUNDLE is 4400 ncoins, if you want to cry about the price at least pick the actual price.

Second, if the battle pass does not satisfy you, just don't buy it and go on. No one is forcing you to buy a battle pass.

 

I understand that people literally want to cry about everything this company does, but don't throw in ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ lies to make it even worse.

As expected the whole translation on the Soul Boost was 100% wrong and we get actually some real nice stuff, except for some mistakes, like the Soul Upgrade and the TB => IA transition mats.

Yeah tbh the reason the transition mats are so wrong is because they directly copied the SB system from KR without adjusting for patch differences between regions. Why they didnt adjust sumhow amazes me, because Silversteel is already trash lvl gear in KR while on NA it is still almost top tier gear. Hence KR would have way more reduced costs on upgrading between TB and SS levels. KR their practically throwing the mats at u to get you past SS level, while NA their barely giving "enough mats" supposedly to get to SS level. Looking at the current mats in SB, can pretty much confirm its the exact same required values in KR for SS.

Yes your previous post annoyed me because I had already long corrected the $$$pricing as i was writing the initial post, forums has this problem of I cant edit my posts after a certain of time so I jst directly put in a ** P.S type thing at the bottom during the initial post. Coupled with your very first line in that post, pretty much ticked even most readers off. 

 

The problem isn't jst that its a rip off, its a BLATANT rip off. When a free event like soul boost gives better stuff than this BP and as i predicted if you look, even the most remote good stuff is locked behind a paywall. Sure $30->$50 doesnt sound much but in their eyes, many ppl swiping for $30 becames a large value. This thread was mainly to predict and demonstrate, HOW MUCH of a rip off it was. Initially when i was writing this, i had a gut feeling that it would be bad but i never thought it would be this horrible tbh. I even predicted that the costume after they announced what was on the BP that the costume would be part of premium only. and lo and behold, it is locked behind premium. Comparing the differences between free BP and premium BP u can see a massive world difference which is pretty ridiculous, they barely give you anything in the f2p version which is the most horrible part, like 10x basic mat like elysians and 1 rep charm and 1 exp charm pretty much every single level is a bit ridiculous. especially as a newly outlined event and the year has barely even started. at this point we are already getting milked at the start of the year which isnt very good news for the future direction that its going in........

The rewards are mostly useless, You are not missing out on any thing.

 

So just don't pay for it.

 

and yes, any one who do pay for the potions or plaque is very dumb.

 

But most people would have enough common sense not to spend on this thing.

Add more special rewards to the premium version, some exclusive pay-to-win items.

-Like for example legendary etching stones with pre-defined or selectable stats when compounding.

-Not just 1 outfit, add multiple vanity items, weapon skins / can even recolor some of the existing ones or invent new stuff - like emotes,idle-poses,dances

-HM coins - so you feel even more incentivized to complete it

-RNG is the idea of this etching stones system so mats and gold are drained from the game. doubt they would make pre-defined ones, even for premium/battle pass.

-Outfits, emotes and such is actually quite the good idea. But this would require NC to design and programm this stuff. So actual work. Never gonna happen with this company...

-Meh, not really excited. Also you already get some if you buy premium and I think that is enough.
