System Error After Update.

Hi all, thank you so much for your patience so far.
All game server should be offline now for the emergency maintenance. We are currently estimating the downtime to be 2-3 hours.

 

As for the second compensation bundle for players that were unable to login with their characters: You won't need to enter a ticket for this, we will make the second compensation bundle available later today, and we will keep you updated on it.

There is a system error after entering character selection screen, I get this message (SystemErr - (300 : Server Authentication Failure).

@Himeplease just call an emergency Maint already and delete all Moonlit souls from all chars.

... You've had 15 hours to decide what to do about the 2nd compensation bundle ...

 

Here, I will make it easy:

  1. All event tokens and loot we could reasonably obtain from the events in a single day.
    This includes everything related to daily dungeons we could reasonaly do.
    Yes, even the daily challenge loot (7/7)
     
  2. 1 week premium - for those that have premium.
     
  3. Extra daily dash spins.
    2 for non-premium,  3 for premium.
     
  4. All "Login Rewards" for the day - for 3 hours
     
  5. Something else I may be forgetting...

 

What could be so hard?

We missed a day, give us everything we've missed that day.

We already got Honing Oils from the maintenance compensation pack.

We can't have more Honing Oils 😞

This is the absolute minimum that we should be rewarded to be somewhat compensated:

  • Daily limited enchanted tickets (4 tickets)
     
  • Login rewards:
    2x enchanged tickets (4 for premium)
    1x ordinary xp charm (4 for premium)
    1x treasure pounch (4 for premium)
    1x legendary jewel (4 for premium)
    1x special xp charm (4 for premium)
     
  • Daily challenge (7/7):
    1x daily challenge reward chest
    1x deluxe daily challenge reward chest
    20x honing oils
    6x twisted serpent reset fragment
    1x arena reward key
    1x armory selection box
    2x daily challenge treasure chest
    3x unity token
    1x sterling reputation charm
    1x challenger's splendor stone box
    45000x unity reputation 
     
  • ALL DAILY DUNGEONS' LOOT, from the daily challenge
    (yes, all of it! we lost it!)
    This includes dynamic quests
    This also includes the gold from the dungeons
     
  • REASONABLE loot from event dungeons (will be edited later once i try it)
     
  • Extra daily dash spins
    2 for non-premium, 3 for premium
    These spins must have NO COOLDOWN.
     
  • 1 week of premium (for premium users)


And this is THE BARE MINIMUM!!!

Since I can't edit anymore, I will say it here:

 

The "reasonable event drops" are:

  • a Kaebi Village Ticket
  • the rewards from doing the event dungeon quest(s)

Also, it is 9:11pm UTC (5:11pm server time).

 

We still haven't seen that compensation bundle...

What I wrote there is just THE BARE MINIMUM.

Any lower than that and NCWest is just joking with the players and showing us the middle finger.

It is just unacceptable to go any lower.

 

It isn't a good compensation, but is a bare minimum.

The most affected ones are the premium players that lost a day of premium.

30 days is 11.99€ (12€ for easy math) for 30 days.
That's 0.40€ of REAL MONEY spent.

You can say "oh, but that's not much"... But does it matter?

It's money they lost! They MUST be compensated.

Then why are you only demanding compensation for 1 char along with 1 week premium for 1 day off? Also scrolling back in the thread seems you were argueing with others about not being able to clear higher dungeons bc people ask for to much ap (yet pretty sure you demanding compensation for content you don't clear aswell because oh you missed those rewards you would of never got).

@Cupidstar Oh and as for your "they have never broken something like" this comments iirc they has been 1 or 2 previous cases where after a patch some people were locked out and they had to do emergency maint. to fix it on both of those cases. (one was tied to bugged / broken season rewards and I think there was a second but can't remember the cause of that one)

1 week compensation for premium users feels reasonable to me.

Regarding the higher dungeons, you're right.

 

Personally, I don't do Hangar 0 or above.

However, asking NCWest to manually check your character and manually make a bundle for a specific char will just delay the already late bundle.

 

Setting the bar lower (to the level I deserve) for everybody, will just harm those who do that content I don't do.

Besides, it will help lower HM level players to get more stuff.

 

Nobody will be losing from this.

Honestly, if I didn't get the daily drops from those dungeons, I wouldn't care.

 

I just want the drops from the dungeons I would do, but that baseline would harm others.

I agree to the point that it will be a fixed thing for everyone (it will be in F10 so single bundle for all and those not effected will most likely also be able to claim it). They might do a 3 or 7 day premium (iirc they have put premium up before but idk if they will for this) but most likely it will be some event currency, 5/5 dc rewards (or main parts) and some enchanted tickets (2-4) if I had to guess.

 

Imo should be 6 enchanted tickets + 1 village ticket + the items from 3/5/7 dc. and idk what but they should throw in smth else I guess for the missed dailies (mabye an extra mat. box or 2).

 

Personally idm skipping dailies here and there so only thing i'm intersted in is the village ticket, but thats just me being lazy some days and doesn't reflect everyone and there should be fair comp. for those who are effected by it. In the long run 1 day of dailies isn't the biggest setback (but does hurt newer players alot more, so should still be something to compensate for it) and my priority would go on the event currency loss.

This is what makes sense, honestly.

Doing it in any other way is just a waste of their time.

 

If I could decide, I would make a box for everybody and a box for premium, with all the stuff that premium users missed.

This is a fair amount of premium days, but I believe 7 days is more fair.

NCWest was the one that made the mistake, and it is literally messing with the money of paying players.

Giving them 7 days is a bigger loss for NCWest, but a deserved one based on the less-than-ok communication and handling of this issue.

That's not fair. You can do 7/7 with dungeons, koldrak and mushin's tower.

Again, that's not everything we've lost.

There's more than that. I gave a breakdown a bit above.

It isn't 100% complete as that would be impossible, but this isn't enough to compensate.

My priority is to be compensated on what we've lost, but in a fair way.

 

If you notice, I just said "dungeons".

There's PVP and MSP and Koldrak.

If those weren't given, it would be fine, despite some people being hurt.

But I believe it is fair we're given the drops of the dungeons only, as those are what trully affects lower players.

 

Finding a balance is hard, but I think the bare minimum baseline I gave is a fair one.

Premium people aren't being compensated for their loss of 1 day of premium, including the premium loot they could have obtained.

 

While the x10 enchanted tickets are okay, it isn't enough compensation for this point on top.

Same goes for the x1 Sparkling Ascension Stone Chest, which is nice, but not even borderline what was lost.

Yes, I said "missing" because THEY MUST BE PART OF THE COMPENSATION.

 

If NCSoft/NCWest is a fair company, we will get this lost loot within a reasonable timeframe.

 

I wasn't clear about this before, but these MUST BE MADE INTO ONCE PER CHARACTER, NOT PER ACCOUNT.

All these losses (except login rewards, Daily Dash and 1 week of premium) are losses PER CHARACTER.

 

Also, this must be only for those affected, which you can find out by checking who's Moonlit Soul you've deleted.

Those should receive the "compensation" box contents again, as those affected by the bug weren't compensated at all.

If you give it to everybody, it doesn't compensate anybody.

Not only that, but people with multiple characters are getting reamed as well.

 

This is a once per account box, while many losses are PER CHARACTER:

This is not even the bare minimum we should be rewarded...

This must be PER CHARACTER, NOT PER ACCOUNT.
