I'd assume that was from the original ebon event before it was permanent.  Probably can't use it no.  Similar to after Den rework you can't use old Alpha Emblems despite same name.

No, it's expired. New Ebon Blooms drop from Ebon Realm now unless you picked up an expired Ebon Bloom just now. 😬

no they expire every 3 months or so

on the other hand.. the boxes that dropped there before today even give the new blooms :3

yep had the same with an old stack on an alt, but well the the square gems I looked for ... all by event now.
