How to get started

Hello there! I'm a founder returning to the game after years of inactivity. It seems like its harder than ever to get outfits without buying them, and I noticed that alot of the outfits require some kinda fabric or something? Anyway, point is, I want to choose crafting professions that would make it easier to craft outfits for myself. How do I start? What trials and hardships did you overcome to get where you are. (I usually in all MMOs just play through the story before taking up other activities, but its bothering me how....unfashionable I am.) Anyway any advice would be appreciated, unless its something along the lines of busting out my wallet and buying NCoins. I also looked into the player market to see if I could buy anything, but there is a severe lack of variety and some of the prices were....absurd. Please help!

There is no guild for crafting outfits. You can craft the guild specific outfit but thats it. I rather recommend you to simply ignore the guild in terms of outfits cause its faster and easyer to get them from a randoom appearing merchant in the dungeons.
