Main Quest Chapter 6 Hide and Sneak Bugged

My game crashed on me during the main quest. everytime i hit the npc to go back to the start of the quest it is red x'd out so I cannot go into the portal to start the quest over again. I have tried restarting the game, escaping, and no clue what else to do.
