NPC that buys gold

Hello, it doesn't work like that. People on F9 spend their Ncoin so you get Hongmoon Coin, in order to do that, you put your gold but the other person is spending money, an NPC that gives you HMC for gold would ruin the economy for the company.

Actually I was thinking about the same idea a few days ago. I'm trying to sell 10k+ for weeks now, but because of HR whales don't need gold anymore and if someone really wants to buy gold, they will buy from discord servers for a 1: 0,3 rate or something xD

So yeah would be nice if we could get a gold buying npc with a 1:1 rate. We have too much gold ingame, maybe this will solve this problem after a while. Also maybe f9 could be revived, because the gold value would be increased.

And if we would be on a healthy economics point again, you could decide if you insta sell your gold for 1:1 or try to sell it in f9 for a higher rate.

But well maybe are some mistakes in this theory and will never happenes anyways, because nc doesn't care :D

F9 is more dependant of players buying NCoin rather than players needing gold. PErsonally you can make a lot of gold in game already, so the ncoin one would use to buy gold are far better spent on trove, rng boxes or even hongsils bing right now. Those give you far more than buying a few k gold from f9 would.

Brilliant sealing charm f5 listings(originally acquired from f10 as  sealing charm fragments only)  are also convenient to calculate a "true"  ncoin:gold rate  compared to the 1:1 capped f9 exchange.  If you can, look at the previous  sales completed rather than the ones  still on the market that haven't sold.

Hello, yes it does not. But in its current state IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.

Also an ability to sell gold for HMC to an npc would not ruin the economy of the company.

The point is to let people actually use in-game methods to acquire F10 items. In its current state F9 does not work.

It would not ruin the economy for the company guaranteed, it would only be beneficial. Considering how badly F9 gold sells we can assume most of their income is not from there but instead of other f10 sales/trove/rngbox they have. Also, people who buy F9 gold can still keep buying it. Including the ability to sell the gold to an npc would help to battle the gold inflation as the gold would be removed from the economy.

You miss the point he made. Every F9 transaction = Money for NC because someone needs to buy ncoin to buy the gold. If you add a NPC, it literally cuts the profits and money NC is making thus that's why it would never happen. Just because you assume f9 gold sells bad doesnt mean that is the actual case. There are people in my clan who sold over5k gold in f9 last week.

Just because out of the 1000 listings in F9 someone does not buy yours doesnt mean it "doesnt work". The more people sell gold the less chance you will have that they purchase yours.

Brilliant charms are just for try hards and those who roll flavor of the month classes. So regardless the price if they want to reroll they will buy it. Altho its cheaper to just buy the fragments with ncoin off f10 than the brilliant charms in F5.

The usual "NCSoft does not do it because it would make a cut on their margins" comment does not contribute anything meaningful to the discussion, gets repeated every thread regarding anything monetization related and is literally waste of the letters spent on typing the comment.

True, someone probably got their gold sold. I have been trying to sell 15k gold over 2 weeks now without any luck.

F9 system is just outdated. Its from the time when store did not have gamebreaking impactful items such as ascended unity stones that are essentially impossible to get as f2p.

If they wish to keep this line they should let us sell gold for HMC in a way that is not based on chance.

I am for this aswell even tho i dont think the gold sell market will be destroyed by this. There are still enough items you cannot buy with HM coins so people will still ask for Premium etc. to buy off others.

Only scenario i can think of would be:

1. F9 increases in price.

2. Pay to win decreases since you actully have a way of getting the F10 stuff with farming.

3. Income decreases for Ncsoft cause the need for Ncoins decreases alot (Thats why this is not happening)

Some people already said they think it will benefit NC but thats not gonna happen, currently people are forced to buy Ncoin cause HMcoin are nearly unobtainable thats probably their biggest income. If you now remove that need to buy Ncoin and instead let them choose to just farm gold and sell it so they can buy the stuff aswell there simply will be less Ncoin.

There is no way this would benefit NCsoft it could only better the situation of the game and since Pay to win would be no more we would probably get some players back aswell but its NCsoft they dont care about players they care about the money we all know that. (I wonder if i get banned for this)

The truth does not contribute to the discussion? More like it does not contribute to what you want. Fact is this whole discussion is a waste of time and will not contribute to anything because the truth is that nc does not care at all about f2p players and giving us more ways to get hmcoin would only make them loose money. They have repeatedly cut down ways of getting hmcoins in the past whoever still thinks they will listen and change anything in favor of f2p is delusional.
