NCSOFT Cyan Posted September 28, 2019 NCSOFT Share Posted September 28, 2019 Hello everyone, As you are aware, we launched changes to the Dungeons and Daily Challenge as part of the Storm of Arrow update. These changes have presented challenges and difficulty for our players. Working together with the dev team, we would like to share some additional adjustments happening next week during the maintenance of October 2. We’re adding Orb of Ascension Fragment back into the Rewards for Daily Challenge and reducing the number of Daily Challenges that can be completed in a day back down to 6. We’ve moved the Daily Challenge Treasure Chest and Solar Energy to 2 challenges completed instead of 4. We’ve added a Superior Reputation Charm to the 6 challenges completed milestone. Completed Challenges Quantity Notes 2 Daily Challenge Reward Chest x1 Daily Challenge Treasure Chest x1 Orb of Ascension Shard x1 Solar Energy x4 - 3 Radiant Reward Chest x1 Only available during the event period from 9/18 to 10/16 4 Arena Reward Key x1 Dungeon Treasures Selection Chest x1 Raid Treasures Selection Chest x1 Challenger's Splendor Stone Chest x1 Dungeon Treasures Selection Chest Available only on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday Raid Treasures Selection Chest Available only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 6 Elder Scale Fragment x3 Superior Reputation Charm x1 - Gold will be increased for the daily quest from these dungeons: Circle of Sundering: 6g 31s 98c -> 8g 42s 65c The Shadowmoor: 6g 25s -> 10g Den of the Ancients: 11g 32s -> 14g 15s Brood Chamber: 11g 47s 50c -> 12g 85s Warped Citadel: 12g 12s 37c -> 13g 74s Several Easy Mode dungeon Bosses will have their “Berserk Rage” mechanics adjusted so that it does damage instead of instant-kill. Cathedra Cliffs - Ayanka Warped Citadel - Kangrim Brood Chamber – Nacha, Vetarex We’re also verifying the adjustment to Dreamsong Theater and The Shadowmoor, and they will be changed as soon as we can confirm it: Dreamsong Theater – Mazuko: change “Berserk Rage” so that it does damage instead of instant-kill. The Shadowmoor – Mookwan: change so that the “Curse” debuff that is put on the furthest player does damage instead of instant-kill when the debuff timer runs out. Thank you all for your feedback and patience on this matter.
Viblo
Thanks for the update Cyan. I'm really happy to see you continuing to work with the development in bringing changes as soon as possible, rather than waiting until the next major update.
900870_1452550662
Thank you Cyan. Just updating with a post like this means a lot to the players. This content update is definitely a step in the right direction.

VodkaThor
Thanks a lot for those changes, if i can ask in this topic is the team aware of the Pets having old stats (ultimate - stage 1 to unleashed alpha) and Character status font of attack power and HP value being small? didn't get a fix last week font can be ignored but pet bug is pretty annoying :(

Kuasynei
Quote now the only thing left is actually decreasing the HP and everything will be perfect by the way "Warped Citadel" is still bugged and even if you iframe the 180 AoE hit you will take the damage and the debuff. and its very important especially for HM/Challenger mode since it makes it 100% more difficult. In hardmode and challenge mode it is intended to be uniframable and an instant kill. (Also these changes look great, thanks for putting in overtime to get these out ASAP.) luzt
thanks for the update, now I don't wanna nitpick, but I don't think anyone has trouble with the last boss in Dreamsong Theater "Mazuko", though I never tried solo'ing it. The main thing in Dreamsong Theater is boss 1 "Kamahage", Any chance its HP could be lowered or phase start back to 70% from 90% ? And @gaby0309 in HM/CM mode ppl don't iframe the 180 AoE in WC, but they knock eachother up like it was intended. Unless you're talking about easy mode.
Quack Quack
That’s great news! Thanks for listening to feedback. For future reference, if you reward the players for their effort, they’re more likely to spend money on the game than if you treat them like slaves. Reward us properly and we will all be happy to support the game. Cheers.

So far the only thing bugged in warped citadel from what i see is summoners cat messing up conduction.
KlausFlouride
Thanks for listening to player outrage at changes literally none of us asked for in the first place. Edited September 28, 2019 by KlausFlouride
JoannaRamira
Finally a change. This is nice. especially the orb as current patch change basically means there are no way to farm orb shards and at some point the market may run out of it and people cant run Heaven's Mandate. Dungeon gold increase.. a welcome change which i wish can be extended downward the list. and hopefully no more difficulty lockdown for challenge. 6DC but with 2 HM challenge might not taste that all well... especially F8 is kind of dead. Tarrega
Will there be any daily challenges assigned to Irontech Forge, Ebondrake Lair, and Naryu Sanctum? Because those dungeons have the breakthrough materials for players who want to upgrade their tier1 non-mystic accessories. Without any daily challenges assigned to those dungeons, it will be harder for new players to form a party for those dungeons.

Toshiwoshi
AS people said, this changes are a big step in the right direction, so thanks for sharing this info. I would love to see a reduction in bosses hp in easy mode, and a comeback of hard mode dungeons of all but starstone and hollows, wich were suposed the only ones that were removed, with better rewards than easy versions. With this, an easy mode to learn hard mechanics would have sense since there would be hard mode versions to try after you learn them. Right now, the easy mode we have, even if it's easier, has zero sense in every dungeon except the last 4 that have hard mode. Also, for new players would be awesome to add some lower level dungeons in the daily challenge. But most important and what you should be doing since now, is make a special server to test the patches with people who knows and understands the game. I know the people in charge of blade and soul in EU and USA doesn't know their own game and their community (I don't want to offend anyone, but its just obvious when you see what happened). Since learning everything you need about the game to be sure everything will go as expected in patches may take some time for the producers, etc., the best you could do is make a test server for a few selected players with deep understanding of the game so they can try the changes and give feedback before the patch goes live, so any possible dissaster like the last big patch can be avoided. CrimsonChan
As they say, Step in the Right direction. But dont slack now, you only one step in the right direction, you can still lose the community. So Keep Walking.
Rysa
While reducing the max quests to 6 is nice and all, where are the Solo dungeons? Put back Outlaw Island, ToI and Basin at least.

Ren36
Praising for going back to the starting point. And we're still not there yet. Sorry, but if you had any kind intuition for your playbaser, you would be more professional. Giving you any more time is asking for a credit. Better start running into the right direction. Still thanks.
Edensia
Well cleaning up the mess only halfway.. what about the other dungeons?! Easymode .. thats a joke. ssm till sst are still named easymode but have hardmode mechanics. there is not reduced hp to the bosses so they are in fact alot harder than the old normal mode. A party of new players could not beat these dungeons, only if a whale is with them to burst it down. Im not really satisfied with this patch since the main change "dungeon modes" is still not fixed at all after this patch. A rollback would still be a better option than this new update we get!!!
