Returning Player Quests

Does anyone know what needs to be done for the returning player quests?

 

It was painful doing the first quest ("just" two dailies). The dungeons used to load a lot quicker at far as I recall, but now are usually finished by the time they load for me. Perhaps an SSD is essential for blade and soul 2019.

The 2nd cold storage quest went totally wrong when I joined a party, used the orb but didn't get the daily completed because of the loading again. I'll try again solo in 3 days, but have a sinking feeling the quest line may become too frustrating for a player like me with story line gear and no SSD.

There are few groups that are going to wait for someone that takes more than 90 seconds to load.  Not trying to be mean or anything but it's just the truth.  Might be time to break open the piggy bank and get an ssd.  A cheap one is about as much as a lunch at Red Robin.

Thanks for your reply, any information/harsh truth is appreciated. I suspected the SSD (lack of it) may be the issue nowadays, it is good to have that confirmed and at least I got to enjoy the story when an SSD was not as vital.

It will be a few months before I get a good enough notebook and am wondering how much more of the returning player quest line I need to struggle through and whether it is even possible/worth it if someone on the forums has completed it already?

well  wait till you have the part :Master Hong's Ninth Lesson, then you get totally stuck as you cant finish it do to you need to finish a daily in the shackled isles and  in the EU part its impossible to get it done do to never ever getting 20 players and well after the 24 july you cant even  solo que anymore for it as you will have to be 3 players in a group  to do it and even if you manage to find 2 players  to join it wont happen do to it only starts at set hour if there are 20 players ....

Thank you very much for the warning about this troll quest line. I was wondering just how far it would go. I can now be relieved about my notebook being a burden and foolishly spending most of the time after returning trying to encourage loading screens and frozen pixels. Hopefully, later this game will be as playable for me as it used to be.

My friend did it 2 days ago.
