chroma effects dont work on newer razer kmb

i have had an old razer blackwidow chroma and the effects worked fine on that one. now with a blackwidow elite and a naga trinty the effects wont work on them but while my older firefly will display the effects perfectly fine. the elite and trinty stay my own static color when i launch the game but when i complete a quest i get the color sycling effect but them it will stay black. but if any body knows a solution then please let me know.

 

and i use synapse 3.
