New Class Ideas

I'm sure everybody has an idea for a new type of class, be it a hybrid or otherwise, so I made this Forum for people to voice their ideas and discuss how they might work. Personally I'd love to see a class based on sages and hermits, haven't quite figured out how it might work, but hey, that's what this forum is partly for.

I dont want a new class i want a summoner rework. Revelations online (glad this game died so fast) had a nice summoner class. Instead of having a cat which perma steals target they summoned animals like Dolphins.

Never played summoner, but I can understand wanting to rework something.

I thought the same thing about summoner, at least some of the other familiars that the Lyn can look like so the bond is more impactful.

It would be nice to be able to use magic and a sword, like Robin from Fire Emblem.

A scythe user sounds good and what would be great would be a ninja class or even something samurai based.

Im thinking things like smoke bombs and shuriken, the Lyn are calculating instinctual beings, so I don't see why not.

The samuarai way is an honorable path usually.

A some kinda blade attached to a long chain kinda like how the great thrall attacks

I would like to see class specialized in chains and being called chain master :)

Still sticking with a summoner rework: Why is this class called summoner ? It summons bees and if the cat is dead he revives (resummons) his cat thats all. Revelations Online actully did something with the summoner class so the name was correct.

Honestly... for a new class, I'd just like to see a character using a quarterstaff... I mean... makes sense... a melee-oriented pole-wielding class just seems fitting for a series based primarily on fantasy rooted loosely with Chinese and Korean lore, focused around martial arts and such.
