Equipment upgrade Discount from guild

Recently, the guild i joined leveled up and got the "5% discount to all equipment upgrade". I have a lot of stuff i need to upgrade, so i started with the least costly : True Ascending to Cosmic stage 1 soul. But i noticed that the 5% discount didn't apply. Please help!! Thanks.
