my top friends quit bns and they were very mad, I havent logged in 2 weeks and im considering joining them because troves are becoming much more often now, its unfair to see theres p2w OK we got that

 

but now, every week, every month, p2w events, more nerf rewards, more grind for the f2p and easy rewards for whales this all increases every day and whenever playing a dungeon it just feels unrewarding and pointless if there's ways to achieve all your f2p gear in 10 minutes by just cashing in all matters.

 

When game launched, it was perfect, people loved it because currency made sense, we were careful even when investing copper, we used to gain profit by getting silver, and we loved to achieve 1 gold and above 

 

a legendary item used to be sacred , a red themed item was like o wow a legendary, that item is powerful

 

now everything is legendary and weak as hell categories got screwed they give us sparkling cute stuff with powerful names but it's just a scam and a big lie.

 

now all doesnt make sense, silver/copper are useless all is about gold and in huge amounts

 

And bosses keep getting more and more hp and we keep getting more dmg with newest gear, seriously? keep going like this, I remember we used to love to have +20k DPS, 100k+dps was the META, now if you don't do 300k+ you're low. 1millon considered high, with upcoming gear meta will be even 6 millon. What's next? in 1 year maybe, a boss with 100 trillon HP AND DPS class META being what? 100 millon damage per second? what the hell is this scaling its ruining it itd be better to even hit from 1-100 and monsters with 1000-100k life than this horrific ''scale''

 

And they wont do anything here, only in KR, it reminds me of Archlord, used to be an amazing game, it got transferred to a korean company, they made all p2w, screwed all, p2w until the end community was ignored all time, game ended up shutting down 

 

I am sure BnS will last years before it shuts down because the tiny playerbase remaining are 90% cashers and f2p is just dying super bad. 

 

Storyline doesn't even make sense with gameplay at the end, story talks about defeating the greed, the hate, the ignorance, and be patient, be willing to help, help others be as strong as you, and it doesnt happen, whales group with whales, f2ps are stomped and kicked from parties, ignored, and whales keep gaining more and more.

 

This week they gave me more reasons to not log in yet, 5 friends so far quit and going and 2 of them did cash for this.

This post is for the community not for the staffing because they don't even care they just want to keep milking the whales who are falling for this.

It'll get worse. Once all 4 mobile games comes out PC version might get even worse and worse until they decide to shut it down. Actually I doubt that we'll get 5 year anniversary. Game in Korea might continue living but no NA/EU version...

I could see if there were items you can only get by spending money and no other way...ok that would be pay2 win, but considering you can get everything  by just playing the game its more pay2progress rather than p2win.

 

As for your "only p2w events":

Costume rng box...yes...huge p2w event......it boosts your stats like crazy....no it does not do anything for you.

Rng Box....well nothing really great here either since everything it gives you can get in game.

 

Trove...well you need money or gold but...still the only thing hard to obtain are the square gems everything else is easy. sure its a grind game, but thats what all mmos and especially korean ones are.

Its still P2W. You know why? Gear gets outdated faster than non whales can get it. That makes endgame gear (while its BiS) accessible to whales only. If this game had patches every 6 months you could catch up to best gear, but with current rate of expansions being released,its impossible to catch up. If I calculated correctly this update (awakening patch) is 21st patch of game which adds better and better gear. 3 years 20+ patches...

You are mistaking something here....

You are mixing up 2 things: gear needed vs gear wanted.  you do not need Maxed BiS gear to play and progress in the game, you do not need maxed out Square gilded gems to progress in the game. If whales want to throw money out and get top notch gear...they can do that...it does not affect you or your gameplay pace at any time unless you expect them to carry you and they refuse and kick you from a party because you dont meet their requirements. or the only other time it affects you if their spending habits cause item prices to drop making them available at a cheaper price for you.

But you need almost endgame gear to access brood chamber normal mode or ET and TT.

For Brood Chamber? Not really....Raven 6 -9 is enough. TT, yeah, its a raid, you need some gear for it but definetely not maxed since a very huge part of the damage to bosses is done via mechanics. ET will be easier than all the raids we had so far so i wouldnt worry about that yet, plus by the time ET comes out Aransu 9 / GC3-6 will be standard for most people.

i really don't bother with using the forum anymore you have players that come and defend what NC is doing to the game

you get no answer or vague answers from the community manager or Developers 

what do you expect from a game that release patch notes that can affect the materials and economy , system changes and game play changes

a day before on the same day of the patch or after the patch is live 

so no testing the product no quality check the only thing i have seen them fix so fast was that one time Treasure Trove was bugged

i don't get why we keep on getting rushed updates we are always going to be behind korea in updates because of localization

so take your time between updates

and if you keep on catering to whales the game will crash and burn

( and what i mean by that whales keep on saying we are bored we have nothing to do we need more content ( waa cry waa )

so updates get rushed to keep them happy

whales complain we have so much gold and nothing to spend it on ( waa cry waa ) gold reduction hits and kills new players

 

and yeah the game is slowly and surely is getting more and more pay to win

but how you ask 

let me tell you

the main thing in this game is your gear that is the only focus for you in this game its not leveling up nor the story or the raids or dungeon running it's the gear

so if you can get in game and use your Credit card and get most of your gear using that

it's called pay to win

 

if you take your time and try to enjoy the game run dungeons on your own pace you will find

no one to run them old outdated content dungeons

and you did not run newer content so you lost gold and materials for not doing them and when you try to run them

you will get hit by a gold and material reduction and you will get so left behind in your gear

it will be better for you to look for another game or start over with an event so you can catch up

 

we get more and more levels to the gear we have

we get new gear but you don't get more materials drops or a better way to farm them and farming 10 + hours per day is ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ing ridiculous

so you can upgrade your gear before we get new update that makes your gear outdated and you need to get more materials for the new gear 

so if you are not willing to pay money every now and then to get materials from cash shop or buy RNG boxes or cash events you will get left behind with every update that we get

 

and now with the new changes to the game its going hard on pay to win and don't tell me you can farm ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ in this game the rng is ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ing rigged 

 

first we have the gold that was reduced and in the same day we get in F10 ( the Hongmoon Store ) ( Small Scret cache ) that you can buy for 150 NCoin or 150 HCoin 

so the gold reduction has nothing to do with the economy as some players say and in Treasure Trove you have a box that gives gold too

 

then we have the change to the gems and gem powder now you can't get gem powder it will be cash shop item only so in 3 or 4 month

1 powder will be 10 - 20 + gold so not pay to win at all

 

and the change to cold storage and heaven's mandate is directed at sacred oils

now as a free to play player you are so limited you can't make them

and the resets for cold storage and heaven's mandate are cash shop item only 

and the orb of ascension for them are not something that you can get frequently

but now you can get the orbs of ascension from the Treasure Trove and the orb of ascension shard is going to be a frequent hongmoon store special

so no not pay to win at all

The dailies from the two HM and CS dungeons give already things to make the oils unlike complete rng drop as it was before. Additionally the orb fragments are tradable so you can get them from others.

Well I returned after 1/2 year and what I see is terrible P2W.  No reason play if you are not prepare to pay too much. So I also leaving, is better play another game for example unnamed game where you paying few euro per month.

 

BTW P2W mean: significant advantage for those who pay over those who playing for free

 

In BnS even when you will be play 24h/day you will not be able to got enough. For example how long it takes to get Dyad Gilded Square ?

If you say P2W is only when you can buy items which F2P players can not, think about it. It is like in real life you can buy La Ferrari, yes you can, no laws forbiden it, but how many of us have 2.790.000,- EUR which this car cost? 

Same in BnS, what is it to me for, when I consider be a free to play player can obrtain same items like, pay to win players, when I really can never have enough money to have it.

 

Also does not matter how long you play they always release new content for P2W players and others can do nothing. Great example is one hit 6v6.

First time I post maybe in this forum and I've been since release I am tired of p2w, it is a lie that you can farm and catch up, I made an alt, I farmed like 6 hours a day and was insane, so much time, to barely get from questing and f8s slow promoting parties about 90g a day and it still was nothing, 1 accessory small upgrade = 600g, 1 small weapon upgrade = another 600g and need like 30 upgrades for all without counting the soul, and you say you can farm all? do it, try yourself and you see it is impossible, you win more money working in real life and buying a better game with $5 aka RUNESCAPE where I am moving now cuz Im tired this is not an MMO anymore I pay 5 USD in RS and I get all and feels rewarding here I do an endless stupid quest and doesn't reward a sht and whales dominate all 

 

this game sucks now at least in runescape graphics won't be as good, but hey, they have all adapted to their graphics, here you have a naked idiotic bikini costume next to a horrible bad clipped rock/stone/endless textures unmatching enviroment that have been ugly looking since game opening and they won't fix it and also at least RS is a true MMO this SHT became ''Blade and Soul'' to ''Pay for your SOUL in game or have fun playing endless hours for no progress and stupid updates by releasing you content to farm for like 6 months aka EXAGONAL PINK GEM IN dragon raid for months to upgrade it to epta and suddenly release shitty p2w events and get it to triangular in 1 day by cashing screw all in the face of f2p and use the whales money for android games in KR''

Just my 2 cents. "Cash Shop items that give better stats than free/in-game items", this would be P2W. And as far as I can tell this game is more of a better term pay to get ahead.

@Asakara98 I can't say much about my soul and pet aura, but here is my main below. Gems were left on my gunner feel free to look if you really want. I can honestly say in a few more weeks I'll be caught up to most players after about a year. Still have someways to go on my accessories but using events currently to make the jewels and such basically free and will work on my aura and soul later on since I currently have 8 characters that are all free to play and I earned every bit of it with countless hours grinding dungeons and events on each. Mind you I'm also close to getting Glided Gems myself (currently Octagonal except for my garnet but that will be done later next month) oh and 2 more premium stones and I'm aransu 9 with full achievements for the new gear tier well above what I currently have just needing to grind circle of sundering for 1 more emblem. I spent in Troves of past..  This Trove.. I refuse to spend anything more.. they have me as a paying patron, the rewards are not enough for me to dump any more into this game.  Ive got better things to do with my money. Its a miracle the gaming commissions of the EU don't shut them down fore scamming the general gamer on the gambling chests & Trove. I suspect they will eventually will file some sort of class action lawsuit. but for now I am reserving the right to not pay.

My feedback is the exact opposite.  The key is rough 50 cents or 35g each.  On average, we get ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ from the trove.  I only bought 300 keys when i could bought 1000+ keys if the junk you give me is worth more that 50 cents / 35g  a pop.

 

It is not a trove.  It is a donation.  I do not mind donate a little, but NC, you could have made a lot more money off me.

I understand that this game (along most of the MMO genre) is dying off in the West due to corporate greed and tons of bad decisions (I'm still kind of salty about Kritika's demise). Perhaps in the future, Western gaming will be limited to only pvp first person shooters and some AAA single player games as that's what's seem to be always loved around here. Anyway, my own advice for those angry at the direction the game is taking is to chill. Stop playing if you have to, and accept that the top spots in MMOs will always be taken by whales and the random tryhard f2p who pretty much no-life'd his bachelor years.

 

Yes, at first it may be hard to accept this. But I assure you. You shouldn't take gaming so seriously as to cause you a headache. It's not worth and no company will buy you your Ibuprofen to calm it. So really, lay back, chill, seek other like minded players who are at your same situation (this forum may be a good place to call them up) and forget whales exist and play as an f2p group.
