Hongmoon Training Room - SF - Solo Knockdown

Hi everyone!

 

I'm relatively new to this game, been playing it for about 3 weeks.
Currently I'm stuck in the Hongmoon Training Room at the 2nd training session for lvl 35 as a Soul Fighter (Status Effect - Solo Knockdown Joint Technique).

I've done the 1st and 3rd one with no problem at all. But for some reason I don't get any completion at all on the 2nd, even though I manage to get the green "Knockdown" sign to flash under the opponent's health bar.

 

I'm supposed to hit "Howling Blast" followed by "Leg Sweep" when the opponent's attack range is activated, and I've tried all sorts of timings and delays.

 

From what I understand it should be working when I manage to get the "Knockdown" sign to flash, so what am I doing wrong here?

 

Please help, as I'm currently clueless as to what is wrong.

I just realised that the "Howling Blast" skill doesn't have any knockdown effect.
Is this from the new update that came today?

If so can you add a knockdown effect to it later on through the talents that you unlock?

I don't have a solution but I have to say that I have the same issue. I've tried everything and it worked 'once' as I got angry and clicked whatever x'D but I wasn't able to repeat what I did so I'm stuck as well..

lots of things r different.....FM Z option knockdown is available ONLY IF i use ice as my attack in Flame Mode and vice versa.....otherwise it goes in an enhance party type thingy......and they dont even bother saying that in the tooltip.....and the Grandmaster level tutorial is a nightmare to my fingers with the rapid level button mashing like Guitar Hero.....smh....

Same issue exactly. I have tried all kinds of timings during, before, after....NOTHING works. No matter what the timing, as soon as you hit Leg Sweep it registers as "wrong" even though it triggers the knockdown green thing for the party.  Did something change to make this specific combo not what the training room wants?

I mailed the support team a while ago about the issue and after getting the reply I succeeded in completing the training. (they responded fast, it's just me who forgot to see if you guys had figured it out already or not x'D )

So if anyone of you still have the issue, here's the solution but if you still have issue, let me know and I'll try to explain it myself to you

Thanks for contacting Blade and Soul Support Team and apologies for the delayed response.

I've looked into this issue and it appears that you need to have Acrimor refresh its CC bar first before executing it the second time around. The first Howling Blast + Leg Sweep combo will knockdown Acrimor and after a while, you could try the combo again to knock it down for the 2nd time, thus completing the training. Hope this information helps.

I got the same email response from a GM. Can anyone decode this response for me? The OP said that he fixed his issue after applying what the response said but obviously I'm just not getting it. Can anyone help? This is super irritating.

I don't know if they fixed a bug or something there, but I tested the kd sessions with my SF and had 0 problems. You just have to wait until the boss cc bars are open and the dummy has to do the first kd. So the boss cc bar has to be green and then you have to use your 3. Thats it xD

I have the same requirement under Enduring Strength and Eternal Soul.  Cannot complete either.  Combat Log registers the Knockdown but it is resisted every time.  I execute the combo when the Purple attack field is visible and both status bubbles under Acrimor's  HP bar are empty.

I'll post a solution someone posted when I asked the same on Reddit:

 

"You just need to come back to it after you do the awakening quest and switch to pvp talent to do it."

 

Can someone who is awakened try this and tell if it works?

 

EDIT: Reached awakening and I can confirm it works. The training will prompt you to swapping talent. Then all you have to do is chain the x-3 quick enough.
