How to break CC?

Hello, I am playing a Warden, I just reached level 45 and tried to do some 1v1 arena. The only CC break I have seems to be Tab, and even then, I get stunned again before the animation even finish so I can't use my other CC resistance, then I just get CC'd to death since Tab has a 36s cd.

 

Yet, when I attack others and try to chain my stun, 90% the time they are immune or resistant to damage, even when I'm watching their buffs, striking after their iframes fall off. What am I missing? I'm so confused.

A lot of skills in BnS can be animation cancelled, you don't have to wait for animation to finish, Tab is one of them and every class can cancel their own tab. That's the reason tab escape is a 0,5 sec iframe, so you don't get instantly cc'd again, but you have to be quick into defending yourself again.

@Ravenous Lust Not every iframe/CC immunity is shown among buffs. You need to learn how each class skills works and look to know when you can CC the oponent without hitting into resist/immune.
