Hi all.

Would like to request help with interpreting the WinMTR report below. Been having issues with connectivity (with frequent DCs and am looking to see what the issue is.

Thank you very much!

My interpretation would be, you live far away from the server + your ISP provider generates random lag spikes that causes even more unstable connection. The "Wrst" section shows the worst ping ms you have had during the session, and having 169ms as worst already on the Singtel-ACPlus is not good. Your normal connection seems to be about 220ms, now add the random spikes the ISP provider gives and yea, no wonder there are disconnects. Assuming i understood it right, so take everything i said with grain of salt :P.

Thanks man, and no worries. I'm not an IT guy myself, hence why I needed help. :)

Yeah, I am playing from Asia, which does make sense and can't be helped. But I think the random spikes from the ISP provider seems to be the problem. I didn't use to have such frequent disconnections; they only started this month. Maybe I'll look into it.

Once more, much appreciated.

These 2 are your problem...

Sanjose =  23% packet loss

Dallas = 100% packetloss

Try contacting NC support and your internet provider giving them these links aswell as the time of day/night you usually play. These 2 links are what continue to give me allot of problems too sadly.

I play from the Oceanic region myself (Philippines). I play all my games on the NA server. In order to do so, I rely on WTFast. While many decry it as a program that does not work, the results I get speak for themselves. Where I would normally have 400 to 500ms ping without WTFast, I have 200 to 240ms ping on average in this game. When I'm playing Neverwinter, I get 45 to 60ms ping, 200ms avg playing SWTOR, and 100ms ping in WoWS. I have very few lag spikes, loss packets, or disconnects. While they do happen, the program itself limits them to the point I do not notice them. This is predicated on my ISP (arguably the worst in the world) keeping their internet up. :wink: I recommend you check it out. They have a free 2 week trial period IIRC. Conversely, Pingzapper, Kill Ping, or Ping Enhancer all do the same thing. I use WTFast because they've improved their engine to the point that it isn't the same program I started out with 5 years ago. Anyway, these programs are there for you to improve your game playing experience.
