Ok we will make thing simple first go check "trove news they added, this is ncsoft word :  "The more stars, the more desirable the rewards!"

So explain me what is this

what prisms doing is that 3stars suposed to be the "best desirable item"?

.....You gonna tell us prism are the best item of game? or we misundertoood the definition of desirable rewards? its not rigged? we should just pretend that our rng soo bad it magicaly changed a 3stars into full of trash item worse than a 1 star? explain me pls i want to understand

for some people that aransu prism is a desirable item, for some, not. Same with other 3 star crist: some people desire the wings more than the 60 oils. Its all personal preference. Just because you dont like something doesnt mean its like that for everyone else.

970keys, no dyad gems, 3x 3star crit, one of those was the mentioned prisms, other two were gilded gems. Well since previous (3-4) troves i didn't get any 3stars in hundred keys, I'm kinda glad i got them this trove at least, but the chance for 2star crits was 100% lowered. I could go through 50-60keys and not get 2star, other than guaranteed one, bad move NC, really bad.

Maybe in their logic they thought let's nerf crits, so existing players buy more, to compensate for the lost playerbase, but trust me, that only makes the ones that still continue to support you, angry and less prepared to spend more. I definitely learned my lesson, I'm not gonna spend hundreds of euros anymore for this kinda %.

I mean seriously that's hundreds of euros on a game and in the end very little to show for it. Your logic is distorted and not in touch with your playerbase, please get your act together, before it's too late, if it's not already.

The reason why trove, etc. keeps sucking so bad is because people still buy keys, etc.  Just complaining on forums clearly doesn't work.  If people were smart enough to not buy known bad crap then it would get NC Soft's attention.  Until then this is the norm.

this trove was my best trove, heres what i did , i had alt of bg keys s i farm bg sell moonstones and  buy as much key in a day the max is 20 , am gold in nova core so i can buy the best boxesm, in a clan of 80 percent bonus ..

i hit the 300 keys mark the day befre trove and went a couple  key over. so safe to say i used a lil over 300 keys , including free keys and prem keys keys from 7 day dree premium

3 star crits

------------------

sealed vt badge crit

red glided gem

blue glided gem

yellow glided gem

(on a diffrent char from regular daily openings n key ever used on him)

2 stars

----------------

1 octa gem

2 black hexa gem

oil x 3 (got this two times or tree in my 40 guranted crits)'

raven prism ( but i took prem stone instead  )

point is most of my 40 crits were literally garbage. theres a crit with 2 stars with astupid cat shape hody, and weapon  with 2 tt wings got that twice.

what i would like to see is some variation with the 2 star crit i see that mech outfit so much witht he same trash items like come n throw something like hellion core in the mix after u get the outfit its a cringee of a crit to get. and its so common i see that like 5 times .none of my 3 stars were a 40 crit .i didnt start to get 2 stars untiln ver 100 r 150 keys. overall is a good trove if u go the distance with keys now and then u get some trash items lol but u gotta have faith lol

and i wasnt looking for the double colour gems because way too expensive 750 for  regular gem at least a 2k gld but 2.7 i think crazy.

Guys, when you do trove then it is the rng that decides what you win or not. It always, always, always is a rip off. Period. It uses a lot of your psych to control you. Its like gambling. Yeah buy 100 keys. OK no crit, lets just try another 10, no crit lets try again, again again ......

So if you cannot efford it, dont by keys. Dont even buy ncoin. All these so called free to play games are rip off or pay to win. So you need to decide: Are you willing probably to just waste a lot of money without any benefit, then buy ncoin. If your not willing to waste, then dont.

The trove is simply a lootbox in the form of a menu. Wait for the EU authorities to clamp down on it in the next one-two ears and it'll disappear, leaving room for the honest monetization practices that were promised to us at launch, the ones that don't involve full gear pieces packed in the afore mentioned lootboxes.

Actually multiple EU countries already investigated and deemed loot boxes not violating the gambling law, and even not falling under it.

Give it some time. Afterall it's an investment with extremely unlikely prognosis of positive or even worth RoI. That's gambling. No matter which bribed commission you send out there, this will not change.

And obviously the practice is deplorable when it comes to online video games. Parents will keep making noise until the annoyance goes away.

My opinion on the matter is the following:

Parents are responsible for what their child is doing on the internet if the child is underage. simple. That is their job and their responsibility. If they let their child play games which expose them to say "gambling", violence, racism etc... whatever happens is on THEM, not the publisher of the game. dont want your kid exposed to gambling etc...dont let him play games that have it, or educate them better,

If the ones playing are well over the age lets put it 18 for europe and maybe 21 for US, then sorry but those people are smart and educated enough to understand what RNG is and that they will not get what they want from it. Any participation in it is on them, if they end up spending 100's of $ on it, its not the publishers fault, its the peoples fault themselves for lack of control and simply not using their brains.

Its really starting to get annoying that parents who simply cant properly eductae and raise their kids blame publishers and game companies for their own mistakes. Its like with the parental control on XBOX. When i worked for microsofts customer support, there were a ton of people calling that their child spent a lot of $$$ without their permissions and why there is ano "parentla lock / control" on XBOX. Funny enough there is parental control but the parents never bothered to set it up, and when you tell them that they get all upset and blame microsoft while its not their fault.

People need to start acting like proper adults  and accept their own mistakes and not shove the blame everywhere else.

This is hardly about parenting. Fact of the matter is that gambling doesn't belong in the domain of gaming. It's not a coincidence that in many countries, gambling (therefore lootboxes as well) is called ''hazard''. Ingame progres is meant to happen based on player's skills. Trove/lootboxes/gambling, call it whatever is not a projection of gaming skills and that's that. Even by proxy.

That seems to be reversing course. The Netherlands and Belgium have recently decided otherwise, EA is under investigation for ignoring these changes which they were directly made aware of--which can carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison for not complying with gambling regulations--the rest of the EU and parts of Asia are looking into it, and the US FTC and a number of members of Congress are looking into it as well. I can only hope the day comes that loot boxes are brought to an end. It's sad, but something drastic needs to happen to save people from spending hundreds of dollars on nothing that only leaves them feeling sad and upset, and in some instances are hundreds of dollars they couldn't afford to gamble.

Anyway, as long as the whales keep lining up NCSoft will keep milking them. These threads literally pop up every single trove and it's the same people burning hundreds or thousands each time and feeling sad after the fact. C'est la vie in the world of MMOs these days.

for some people that aransu prism is a desirable item, for some, not.

If you find a single player charging ncoin to expect an aransu prism in a 3 stars who no matter what, far more expensive and time consuming than simple buying a VT necklace in a raid, let me know...else stop trolling

If a casino had a payout rate as bad as trove it would be closed right away...
And no it's not weird to compare this to a casino, cause it's straight up gambling and everyone knows this...
Everyone also knows kid's shouldn't be allowed to gamble, and yet ncsoft doesn't check if it's adults who pay them or kids.
If a casino would be caught allowing kids to gamble, this would mean a giant fine and that the casino would be closed.
