Lag spikes after Dec 5th Patch

After this patch i've experienced a lot of bugs and the most disturbing one to the gameplay is frequent lag spikes. Before this patch i've never experienced lagspikes as frequent as this. before i would get a lag spike maybe once every 8 hours, but now its as frequent as 5 every 2 minutes.  [ EDIT: its actually 3 lag spikes every 5 seconds. ] my ping in game is great at 87-120ms and my computer is pretty high end. so i see no reason for these frequent lag spikes. i think the update hasn't been configured good enough. 

When lag spikes happen (keep in mind i've never experienced this before) :

When casually running around/moving camera.

in raids the first 5 secs when everyone attacks

sometimes when in combat

loading screens take forever

tried CTRL+F and CTRL+X and low graphics and still not helping.

almost all F buttons e.g F2,F5,F11 etc..

another bug which happened yesterday is when you link items in chat they dont show up to people instead they show up as a blank space.

uploading photos dont work either but this bug has been recognized.

Nvidia GTX970M 

16GB ram

256GB SSD, 1TB HDD

Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2601 Mhz, 4 cores, 8 logical processors
