I've been trying the 6's a bit lately, and eventually started going w/a friend occasionally.  They had a friend they wanted to bring along too --   Friend got 

there...and *bump*...I was out cuz apparently you can't have 3 people wanting to play together in 6's, ???  Huh?

 

Why is there ANY limit?  And don't say go form a clan -- because there are so many reasons why that is broken beyond belief, like clans only let their top players do 6's in the name of the team, so the other (70 people in clan - 6 = 64 left over) can't play in a group with other clan mates.  It's likely they don't want to compete in name of

the clan anyway, but would like to go into random 6's and play together.  

 

People are allowed to take 4-5 friends into F8 and LFP for a another person or two in a dungeon, so why not in the BG's?    Can this be fixed?

When battlegrounds were initially released, you could go in with any 6 people you wanted to. What happened? The 6 biggest whales in the game joined forces to wipe the board clean. Ever since then the number was cut down to 2, which is still bad enough, as it's always two strong or two weak people that queue together and heavily tip the balance of the matchup.

Its not always 2 weak or strong, but 2/70 from a clan or 3/70...clan ranges from <lvl 50 to >HM17.  

but still could be handled even w/6...like

1) wait for 6 players that are >= the 6 whales; 6 whales would have to wait (or get bored & leave)

2)  How do you wipe a board clean?  It's ranking.  They can't remove people.

3) put them in a platinum rank or Adamant[ium] (diamond) rank and only pair them with others of similar rank.

 

Of note -- if what you say is true, a group of 3-4 whales could easily dominate SSP.  It may happen now and then, but it's hard to maintain. I don't see how it would be much easier for a group of 6 to dominate in all of the BG's for any length of time.  For that matter, how did they dominate all of the BG's at the same time?   A problem now with clans, is only the top 6 out of 70 get to do clan BG.  Now, but again, you could force that issue by excluding those people from being in clan pvp again for for some period of time.  

 

For that matter, though, were there multiple BG's back then?  With 3x as many BG's could run at least 2 of them or 3 if 1 team dominated too much...they can't easily play on all the BG's at the same time.

 

But limiting to 2-people in a Massively[sic]-Multiplayer game?  that's way too limiting.

 

They could also enhance the queuing system so you could know if there is anyone else queuing....some, including self, have waited too long for no one to show up.  But even there, could add criteria for matching -- like max team size among other factors -- with each added criteria you would be able to see if you'd ever be matched by # of matching players ...etc.  

 

But best would be doing a better job of matching like they supposedly were going to do last patch-- but it seems they did the opposite with nearly all contests going heavily one way or the other (vs. many being down to wire, previously).  That's one thing that is depressing about this game -- any bug fixes or feature improvements -- we won't see for many many months as it will have to go through KOR servers 1st.   Considering they are different audiences, the same balances in the game might not please or be optimal for all audiences.
