How does buying DGS work?

So, if I only want to buy 2 DGS ,but the boss drops 3,do I have to pay for all 3?

I already have 1 DGS,if I get unlucky and boss drops 3 of them 2 times I d have to buy 2 extra which is 600g.

I'd say don't worry about it, with this upcoming patch having "too many" Divine Grace Stones isn't gonna be a thing for a while.

It is a rather expensive upgrade for what you get on the awakened badges considering how much dgs cost.  However the new heart is an absolute steal at 2500 peaches.
