New players in BNS

Hi. I have a question. I'm a new player, playing bnd about a month. I've made baleful 10 weapon, but... Where do I suppose to get 1500 gold to upgrade it to the first raven? I've 1k ap, 6 lvl bracelet. No one will take me to party to high-level dungeons. Raven raid will give me about 50 gold. So the question. Where do I suppose to get money for weapon upgrade? Ok, maybe you will say battleground chests, but wait. I'll lose most of the fights there because I'll play against full pvp equipped players and I haven't pvp equip. It in high lvl dungeons. So, how do I suppose to play this game?

You either wait for drastic upgrade cost reductions or you uninstall the game.

Currently it's really no good for new players, it was like a time where I logged only 2-3 days per week because daily rewards sucked, Asura dungeon was too cancer and  I couldn't join high level dungeons (at this time it was Citadel and Desolate tomb).

depend on how willing you dedicated to progress, do you have 2-3 hours each day to clear event and daily?

if yes, then find a clan is good start
- you will have ppl to run daily and event together,

- get BT acc,

- you can ask clan member to explain the dungeon mech to you

- and have new friend

Without naming them is not really an answer. Its like go to casino, win money and buy gold.

Weeklies 100g from that including the mats sold
"Good" events where it favours making gold over buying boxes.
Evolved stones. The general raids all have access to them like GHB. Or bosses in Celestial Basin. 
No idea what they meant by field bosses on the description

Loot caves seemed to have been weeded out efficiently by team BnS
Mining is toast
If you love pvp then you could make gold there grinding for soulstones
there's also an easy daily 20-30 soulstones from ssp but dunno if that reward was nerfed too. Since everyone is op we could all solo that boss now without issue.

my honest opinion  forget about it , uninstall the game new players can't progress   , its a sad story  , dungeon reward nerf/dungeon gold boxes taken out was the worst  idea ever ,

 

rich and old player will stay rich new players  have no home 

 

they just shitted on themself and on the new players  internal night was the most cancerous patch ever  made , it was way 2 early for NA/EU we didn't have 5 years headstart that korea had and only 10% of the player base actually have the gear and gold .

Just wait. The market is oversaturated with gold, because people did a lot of dailies / weeklies on alts that caused a running inflation (honestly I was afk for a few months and all prices increased by 30%-50%). By drastic reduction in players gold income everything is going to be much cheaper... in some time - until then I'd advise against doing any major purchase and just saving your gold. Alternatively you can make some alts and do weeklies on them its a great source of materials and gold.

Well I must ask you why do you lie? For raven you need only 150g at worst without clan. Where did you take 1500g? You miss one 0? Or you are lazy to play game and taking mats? Even on low gear you can do daily... Drake+CB+pleb dung or so... Ez and fast and you take a lot of mats. Do not talk about mats price when you can so easy farm them now you do not need golds when you are able to farm mats. So stop cry and go play. Time which you spend on forum you could spend in game.

He didn't lie though? You're the one mistaken here. (The following prices are according to jinsoyun at the time of writing this post)

 

Excluding the 50 moonstone crystal and 50 elysian crystals needed since according to you "they are easily farmable". Lets take a look at the other things needed shall we?

 

10 Transformation Stones (13-15ea) Total = 130-150 (oh wow 150 already?)

20 Legendary elements (20 ea lets say you have plenty of soulstone and sacred crystals so buy them for 10 ea instead) Total = 200(400)g 

 

If it ends with that then it wouldve been fine, however what i believe OP was referring to here was *ding ding ding*: 

5 Empyrean spirit stones (265g ea!) Total = 1325g 

 

 

Total gold needed without moonstones or elysians : 1655(1875) gold

 

As a new player and with the latest patch dont tell me thats doable just by "not being lazy to lay the game"

BTW with clan lvl 15 and premium it cost 9g 75silver so expensive really.

 

Crystals cost 0gold 0silver you do not need use orbs so you do not need golds for orbs you just need to be able drop them and you really are now...they did one of best patch...now you can play and droping so many crystals...you do not need golds for nothing.

 

Transformation you can craft again 60g per 35.

 

PTS craft 15g.

 

Empyrean spirit stones craft 60g per 3.

 

You can all drop in few days / weeks but again it is no golds but mats! IF you want you can blame they for low mats drop but no for low golds! And this are really different things.

It shouldnt be like this though. This isn't right, needing to create 10 characters to sustain a single character .

A toon should be self sustsaining, if you want to create more its because you enjoy playing different stuff not to make them slaves for your main.

 

Also new players already face difficulty getting accepted into weeklies with their mains let alone create new alts

To be honest, this is one of the most efficient ways in the game to make gold and upgrade.

 

Lets say, you have 10 toons. All 10 fresh, out of story. So you cant do purple trains.

 

If you complete the weeklies, you get 80-100 gold on each toon in form of tradable mats and alot of non tradable mats. So you will have 1000 gold and hundreds of account bound mats. All you need is to do the 3 pve or 3 pvp weekly or mixture of them. For pvp you only need to push LFP, and if you have luck, you will get a strong team to do it. 

 

Just need to level up alot of chars, ofc you need slots too.

the weekly consist of Raids that you cant do with fresh chars
or mostly 6v6 pvp where gear matters so you will be insta killed all day ...
and you need to do one of the two 3 times on each character....

Fun stuff to do on 10 Alts just to progress your main right ?

yes there are, i saw and partied up with MANY while i leveled 3 of my chars to 55 as a returning player...

they don't know yet what waits them once they finish the main story....
i guarantee you they will leave once they find out About the Wall and how hard they are Gated....

I know it's efficient. That doesn't make it any less boring and when I log in I want to have fun not to get bored. And I know that perfectly, having 7 toons in total. I used to endure the weekly trains on three toons, but now it's just unbearable hassle.

Grind in this game is far from fun. Spamming same stuff for years is really cool...
