Game gives a startup error but starts anyways?

Just installed the game, but whenever I launch it it gives me this error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150004)."

But afterwards, the game starts up anyways, just abruptly and without sound (I have sound on, but there's no sound coming from the game, it doesn't even appear in the Volume Mixer)

Please help, I just wanna try out this game...
