Nova core needs some changes

Namely to prevent single assassins from cheesing the match. It's quite absurd.

 

An idea is to open the point in front of the landing 5 minutes in so that simply because an assassin has locked down one point, you can always bounce the balls right at the end.

The most annoying issue is, that one starting side is better than the other. It should be the same, which could be made quite easy, when the first ball would not always lead to the south. There should be a lever in the middle, which only could be activated once to decide the first side, where the ball is going too. So maybe when blue team activates it, it goes to blue side, when red team activates it, it goes to red side. After that it could be alternating like normal.

But since it's random which side you are on, it's still fair.

 

Concerning sins, that only works if the sin is good. And if they are good, they deserve to make their team win.

 

Okey, maybe sin mobility needs a bit of a nerf in BG, since it helps Nova and Beluga so much. Maybe they could introduce gates that put people in stealth mode. Would make things exciting and level the mobility advantage a bit. :D

Highest ELO pair/solo starts on left (=the advantageous) side, afaik. So not random but rather rubs the imbalance in.

 

On topic though, sins are a minor annoyance, and the least of the problems (which there are plenty), in nova core.
