new premium sucks. plain and simple. they called it a revamp but its basically a nerf. it does nothing to enhance the game play at all. took out chi recovery reduction which.....DID enhance game play, took out market board price reductions, took out wardrobe for F2P hob nobs. the HM coin is nothing new. the only thing they did is add a stupid box you have to pay for to access, and then pay for AGAIN just to GET! tell me how exactly this was an improvement for premium users. please nc, inform me.

ps. i had rank 10 premium, and i basically feel like ive gotten shafted. 60 lousy days for rank 10

Conclusion:

I will NOT buy premium in Blade & Soul.

How is this a rewamp? This is just plain BAD!

Removing chi reduction and marketboard pricing was a stupid move on their part, and absolutely NONE of the new "perks" if you can even call them that, make up for it. There was absolutely no reason to take these things out of premium.

 

Both of my roomates and myself paid for premium. We will not be doing so any more unless premium is buffed.

I agree, I don't like the new premium. I'm really not sure if I want to keep buying premium anymore.

 

I think it was a needed change that they made wardrobe/showroom free for everyone, because with the amount of costumes in game already and more coming all the time, storage space would never be enough to store all those costumes and this game wasn't designed so that you would store the costumes in your storage/inventory, but instead you store them in the wardrobe. If having the wardrobe free for everyone was the only change to the premium, I would continue buying it, however...

 

...it was stupid of them to remove the chi recovery time reduction perk. I bought premium for wardrobe / daily dash premium slots / chi recovery reduction and mobile storage. Now 2 of those bonuses are gone. I think I can get used to living without mobile storage and I was never lucky to get the surprise prices from the daily dash much anyway. Actually with the current daily dash, the advance to start is more of a curse for me as I find those 10 pouches worthless, just a very short time of farming in basin would get me enough peaches to get 10 pouches. At least in the previous daily dash you could get hive queen wings which I liked, and in the beginning of the daily dash there were some legendary elements/jewels so it didn't feel as bad getting advance to start in the last 2 premium slots of the dash. 

 

What really annoys me though, are the new premium perks. I already hate that this game has so much RNG. Now they added this daily rng-box for 30 ncoins/hm coins. It's like a bad joke really. I'd be curious about how many players even wanted something like that. I mean, maybe if it was free it would be ok, but it costs. And I can find so many better ways to spend those 15 free daily hmcoins on (another new perk, which I find ok), rather than buying a scam box once every 2 days. The daily premium box actually makes me NOT want to buy premium.

 

About the free trove opening, I guess it's ok even if it's just another way to try make players buy more trove keys/open trove slots, but still better than nothing since during trove there is no daily dash premium slot benefits. 

 

 

In short, I think they nerfed/took away lots of bonuses from the premium yet didn't give enough new good bonuses to really make me want to keep buying premium.

THIS was NOT a revamp, it was a total NERF and another punsh in the Face for all Players, who supported this greedy, money-grubbing company. 

Thankfully my premium is based on monthley charge and i have already cancled it.

 

@PapayaPineapple i feel bad for you. In reallife you could cancel subscription and call back you money, here your account would get banned.

Just another example how NC-Sofft ripps off their customers

I got premium lvl 10 before this revamp ....the benefits were shit to be honest, if you consider the amount of money that you need to get lvl 10 .... but now they came with this garbage of revamp .... so i pay for membership to get 15 HM coins / day = 450 Hm coins / month .... is not better to cancel the sub and use those money to buy NCoins ? The new daily dash rewards = garbage, who wants to trove don't give a _ _ _ _  about your extra slot/key, they will open all or buy keys ( not even those who don't trove) this are not benefits, what are we even talking about here..... but hey-hu .... 

Is not the point of doing a revamp to make more ppl pay those 10 buck /month  and not making ppl cancel subscription ???

F2p players will forget they didn't have wardrobe after a few days, premium players will remember that they had privileges that were worth paying for, and now aren't. Good thing that trove makes all their money for them. If they take away all the premium perks it won't matter, in fact it will help them. Less perks mean you have to throw more money at rigged casino events like trove or whatever,"costume rng box" event. They're milking it while they can because rng boxs are in a bit of trouble atm, and you can bet that some sort of regulation and special taxation will be coming down the line.

 

Caring about the quality of your game experience is not what NCsoft is about, just like every other company with a shoddy product. Streamline it, look like you're handing out pennies to the poor and it gives you a good public image. This time, however, they're throwing pennies at their paying supporters, and taking away things of substantial value.

 

Can't say i won't spend anything on this game anymore, but premium isn't worth anything to me now.

I think they said something about not loging in for 3 days ....i need to check the stream again ....either way is crap in my opinion... even more if they stack only for 3 days if you don't use them ...

Already did that -_- ... i think alot of ppl did that .... what is in there heads ? Coming with this revamp ? This shitty events both of them ? Shitty daily dash ? And all of them when the game did 2 years since launch....

60 days for rank 10, okay; that's a pretty bad joke NC. Rank 10 is like a thousand dollars if not more and that's somehow worth what, $22 in compensation for stripping it of most of the exclusive perks and handing them to everyone?

Said this once and will do so again; whoever makes NCW's business decisions should be fired; it's almost as if it's intentional sabotage of great titles to ensure they can never succeed in the west. I've seldom seen such incompetence at marketing and business planning - or perhaps I should say competence in annoying the customer base.

Hah.  If you think NCW is bad, try Perfect World Entertainment.  Whoever does their marketing and business planning are worse than monkeys and hamsters.  Makes NCW look like gods. 

 

However, I see people complaining but give me your list of what it should of been cause I'm pretty sure the free people would complain.  Lets just say, if they started giving you extra stats because you have premium, everyone and their mom would complain lol. 

 

I personally never really cared about the benefits of premium simply because most of the games I played didn't have such a thing.  Then again, I'm considered a "whale" so paying for a subscription like this is chump change for me.

I honestly do not see what the big deal is on everyone crying about the free premium for rank 10? If they havent done that and you kept your rank 10, what would it give you? literally nothing, you would just sit with a number and thats it, so getting those 60 days for it is actually decent.

 

As for the chi recovery, i am honestly happy they did it, makes dungeon runs at least a bit more difficult now when someone dies as it takes longer for them to revive if they die.(its not much but stil...)

I agree on marketplace fee reduction, that i think is something that should be in there. For the rest, premium is not only intended for whales and people at end content, its also intended for the new players and lower geared ones so if a benefit doesnt suit you, doesnt mean its garbage for others.

That's not the point.  The issue is that back when many of us bought premium the rewards were way better than they became.  Many paid in advance for a period of premium, and as time went on more and more was taken away and replaced with... NOTHING.  

 

We complained, NCWest listened and re-vamped premium.  But this new premium is WORSE than before.  We have paid, and now we're getting less than we had.  Not only that, but for many of us the 60 days bonus is totally worthless since we'll never be able to use it.  My example is that I'm annual subscription, and when I cancel that I'm gone from this game forever.  60 days of premium that i will never be able to use, so it's a worthless gesture.
