Maryelle
Since custom profile pictures are currently a hot topic, why not create an in-game photobooth that allows a player to change the backdrop and pose of their character, and take a picture for their F2? There's already a very similar option in character creation, where the outfit, pose, angle and lighting/backdrop can be changed. Almost all of the custom pictures I have seen in people's profiles are safe for work pictures of their characters in different game locations, or safe for work art work of their characters. Most people simply seem to want nice pictures of their characters as opposed to the somewhat ugly background provided currently for profile shots. Or others just put picture of themselves, picture of some animal, fan art of anime/cartoon/TV series/movie or other game character they like. It shouldn't be against rules. Unless it portrays violence, pornography, offensive material like Nazism, spreads hatred, racism, promotes intolerance. But most of custom profile pictures are harmless. Why ban everyone because of mistakes of few. Its in user agreement? Bullshit. You created that part of user agreement to prevent people from posting inappropriate stuff. You didn't create it to prevent from having custom pictures at all. I really doubt that you're against people putting picture of cute kitten or personal photo or anything cute and beautiful.
