These bosses are placed in the game as a stat barrier. The way the system works is your stats are calculated vs an enemy of the same level. By placing bosses with a higher level in the game they can make you need to get better equipment to efficiently kill bosses. The reason why some of the geared players in the game kill these bosses so quickly is cause we have this gear and then some allowing us to basically bypass the stat difference.

In all honesty though the only stat that really matters is accuracy for CCs. If your group doesn't have enough damage outside of this to kill the boss you're either doing the mechs wrong or you really have no business fighting that boss. The level difference doesn't gimp your damage THAT hard. The extra damage you take can be mitigated by not getting hit by attacks. Every class in the game can do this.

Also Hive queen is lv 58 btw.

WE HAVE A WINNER!

It may seem strange but I liked that blade and soul is an mmo that uses mechanics because it allows players to defeat challenges with cooperation and skill.  Having over powered gear is always easier in any game. But in blade and soul it is not the ONLY way.

Within reasonable limits anyone can beat a boss.  Within those reasonable limits, it's down to the players' ability to work together efficiently.  Gear is a paid solution to avoid working through frustrations with other people.  Which ultimately leads to the gap between f2p and p2w in that the real limit is not money but effectiveness as a group of players.

Then there's the,  p2w question but....meh.
