Gem slots missing in weapon

so i created a new lvl 50 wl... got a legendary weapon (first baleful but then got seraph as well). what's the issue, you ask? well, on my gunner, for example, i've had 6 gem slots on the weapon since the beginning, but it's not the same with the warlock. on wl i only have 3 gem slots.

 

the following screenshot was taken this afternoon, when my seraph razor was stage 1. since then, i've upgraded to stage 4, but the gem slots situation remains the same. 

 

 

what's the deal with that?

When you first get your legendary weapon, the number of gem slots gets randomised. You can buy a new weapon if you want to re-roll for the number of gem slots on it (recommended).

i wish i'd known about that before i upgraded to stage 4... thank you

Yeah, it's a pretty stupid system. But once you got your gem slots, you can't lose them, even when you leave Baleful/Seraph.

If you think getting the gem slots are stupid, then you should try out vietnam server. It is more stupid/retard there as you have a chance to fail to upgrade your weapon. LOL...

If you've only gotten to lvl 4 it would be better to start over again and keep buying scaleburn weapons and converting them until you get 6 slots.  Silver coins and Naryu boxes are MUCH easier and cheaper to get than Legendary gem hammers.

And you now can buy straigh bale or seraph weapon from that wendor for 5 nariu coins. Ofc slots are random so might need to buy few to get 6 slots.
