Dark Falz
Actually servers were up at least 45 minutes early. I logged in at about 6:30 PST right when I got home from work and they weren't scheduled to be up til 7:
FrozenB
It is because there are no major patches or fixes today. Simply they just restart the servers. That's it.

It was like this last week as well. They're doing a good job with not extending EU servers for another 4 hours like usual. I acknowledge their work. Let's hope it stays this way. We have the right and the responsibility to be thankful and respectful when a job is done well, and not just take it for granted or even worse, to not notice it since they are bound to do a bad job in the near future, thus we are preparing for the worst. `Analogy time~ [Situation] You have a child who does good in school, learns, does her homework, is a talented child and you are so proud of her. Lately though, she's in a phase, things are going from good to ..bad, she's not responding well to your parenting. [Community parenting] You feel very proud of her achievements prior to her phase, you acknowledged her achievements and you encouraged her to succeed even further. [Community parenting] But now you feel sad, and you want to correct her, you want to guide her on the right path, you struggle to make sense of her decisions and choices. [Decision] A few months later, the child shows signs of growth, this time, for the good, the child is becoming better, she's respectful and diligent and true to her word. You feel enthralled by her change, in a very positive way, you want to applaud her but you feel that if you show her good faith, she'll stop being good and turn bad, so you ignore her change, and you prepare for the worst, since she's bound to do something bad in the near future, so why give her any reward or good faith, right? I believe this is a bad decision. The right decision is: [Decision] You feel enthralled by her change, in a very positive way, you want to applaud her for her choices, and you do so, moderately, while you make sure to ensure future growth through acknowledging her choices and rewarding them with respect and appreciation. That child is NCSoft, that child's personality is Blade & Soul. We as the community have both the right and the responsibility to guide this child and ensure it's growth into a fine adult, worthy to represent us, the parents. `End of analogy~

TokyoGhost
I firmly believe people should be rewarded and thanked when they achieve their goals or do something good.. It might look like a small act of kindness, but it means so much, far more than any act alone.
gridloki
not to be a arse but why is thanks needed for doing your job right? if anything i think thxs and praise should be based on content and listening to what the player base requests without swinging the nerfbat when salty peeps decide the current fotm class is to op
