High ping when hitting bosses

Hi guys,

 

For some reason, whenever I start attacking any boss (mainly in F8, cross server), my overall ping increases and I also get some random lag spikes during the fight, but at the exact moment the fight is over (cuz boss is dead lel), my ping goes back to normal (I keep spamming my atk skills to see my ping). It also happens during BT, my overral ping increases by 40-50ms. Why does my ping increases at the exact moment I start a boss fight in a dungeon? Does it have something to do with packet loss?

It's not packet loss, while it has always been a thing in BNS it usually did not affect combat at all, what your are experiencing is probably what many have been lately with horrendous F8 performance ,combat is very often sluggish depending which class you play and unfortunately I do not have an answer for you since NCSOFT has been ignoring the issue entirely but most people speculate that the servers are simply being overloaded since the server merges along with the gunner update.
