Upgrading to Seraph Pistols - Stage 1

I have just capped my new gunner, but as this is my first level 50 character in the game I have no idea how to go from my Pinnacle Pistols (acquired from the main story) to Seraph Pistols - Stage 1.

The upgrade path tree on ctrl + I just cuts off at Pinnacle, with connection to Seraph 1, and when I hover over Seraph 1, it doesn't give any information on where/how to get it...

Some help would be greatly appreciated :)

Continue the story and you will receive a scaleburn weapon, that one can be upgraded to seraph or baleful.
