Evolved Stone Availability

After discussing your feedback on the availability of Evolved Stones and the new Soul path with the development team, we agree adjustments need to be made. However, we need to ensure any changes we make are done carefully and with a close eye toward ensuring we don’t overly impact the economy.

 

For that reason these first changes will be a little conservative, but on July 26 you’ll be able to start earning them from dropped chests via kill participation on the following bosses:

 

• Celestial Basin Bosses
• Du Tu and Tropical Griffin during Peak Time (20:00 – 21:00 Server Time)

 

Adding Evolved Stones to these locations is a first step and will create a reliable source of the item through current and accessible content. We’re still evaluating and discussing additional methods of acquisition, transmutation, and upgrade costs and will provide further details and updates as we have them.

 

We look forward to your feedback regarding these and potential future Evolved Stone acquisition methods.

Thank you so much Bethany. Personally i extremely disliked SSP, with the down time/ keys and you had to do def/ attack which is not consistent and can be affected by players. now we get more ways to farm them. Hopefully its guaranteed drop from basin. I love peach farmin for EXP so this is really good news for me

It is a start, however, this brings issue of the Heavenly Fruit event back. High geared players, who probably have maxed souls already, will dominate the farming in Basin and peak times and sell Evo stones for extortionate prices.

Please make sure to increase the HP to these bosses.  Some may not get credit, because you know that from day one the whales are going to kill it super fast.  That or make it like Sacred Longgui where even one hit gets you credit.

Are you going to change the CB bosses' HP back to when it was during the peach fruit event? Currently, the boss hp is around 25m (I think, at least for Aomak), and that would mean very little people would be doing enough damage to get kill participation on chests. Will you change the boss HP so more people can get credit, and will it be just as easy as getting a special chest in the previous basin event as it is to get a box with evolved stones in them?

No it wont matter. There's not a special pouch, just the normal pouch which can be easily obtainable with decent gear even among whales. However, if it's through a special pouch they better increase dat hp again cuz it's going to be basin madness once more ;)

Could we perhaps get the bosses to drop ginseng and put them on the same timer as it was during the Celestial Basin event? Because even if the Evolved stones were not accessible, it would be easier to buy the sacred oil or whatever other items people need to gear up... The Celestial Basin event was really good where we didn't have to spam dungeons over and over.

Well, one problem seems to be gone, but it still takes 61 months to transmute my sacred oils, from true to max soul. Since i can only get like 2 demon spirit stones each month in Cold Storage.

why wont you just make it with Peaches just farm Peaches and buy them like an RNG box have 1~5 ... please boss every 40-45 min to just afk for them . it's bots work not players want to play fast .

Why you cant Put evolved Stones to hard mode dangeons? There will be some extra for player and everyone will be happy. Even one from daily or for killing boss. Everyone  going atm normal mode bcs there is no sens to go hard but with even one from daily quest can change everything.

You dont need to nerf anything for soul Just give players place to farm evo stones

just make them loot from f20 half as often as elysian orbs and it should be fine

It is marvelous to hear that there are going to be more sources for Evolved Stones, although I too, remain cautious about it. If the drop rates are going to be equally atrocious with the CB bosses as they are with Bay Lee (not BBBB) and The Exterminator in Grand Harvest Square, this is not going to change anything. I went months of Beastbog and GHS with seeing only two Evolved Stones at all, there.

Actually, I have had this idea last night. What if you introduced a way to transmute non-tradeable oils for less material requirement? (think: 3 STS, 15 Evolved Stones, 6 Elysian Orbs). While not too cheap, it could still make getting a decently staged Soul affordable for a wider player base.

Why not make these boxes drops from NS and IF HM too as a reward( or maybe include NF on the list ) ? Like these are our last 2 dg launched and max souls aren't for low gear farm , futhermore if u guys are worried about market ,why not make an untradable/can't sell version of the iten like "evolved crystal" like many people mentioned before. All the changes will be starting in 2 weeks ,guess is pretty much time for make arrangements.

If its not 100% its very useless and you should decrease the transmutation of oil cost and remove the demon spirit Stone.

 

 

What they are going to add is useless if the drop rate is not 100% for that we already have ssp and bbbl that have 100% and what they are going to add will not change anything, nobody is going to waste time on something that can not 100%. Your change will not do anything and the community will continue complaining. The last update marks a big difference between F2P and P2W
They have to add something that makes people entertain by peeking evolved stones and fall with 100% drop rate with more than 3 that gives bbbl would be a big change, and should reduce the amount of materials that need to be crafted and Remove the spirit stone demon only fall at most 2 or 3 per month.

 

They could rethink the fact of adding ethereal battleground that they had decided not to add time ago and to add it now modified so that they drove boxes of contained evoled stones or something like that.
