3.1 Irontech Forge Scheduled Maintenance - 6/28/2017

Starting on June 28, 4:00 AM PDT / June 28, 11:00 AM UTC, all servers will undergo maintenance for approximately 5 hours. An in-game notice will be given 30 minutes prior to the maintenance starting.

 

Below are the list of changes introduced within the update:

Patch Notes

General

• Irontech Forge is now available!
  • Head to the Irontech Forge in Celestial Basin to face the mighty Mechanizer in 6-member Normal or Hard Mode to earn great new rewards.
• Weekly Challenges are now available.
  • Complete 2 out of the 3 available weekly challenges to earn bonus rewards.
• Attack patterns and mechanics of several Silverfrost Heroic Dungeon Normal Mode bosses have been updated, resulting in lower overall difficulty.
• Blackwyrm, Vermillion Terror, and Sapphire Terror will no longer spawn in Misty Woods.
  • All quests involving Blackwyrm are no longer available.
  • Blackwyrm Roar Resist Charm can no longer be crafted.
  • Misty Woods Key can now be purchased from Faction Trade Merchants in Misty Woods.
  • Misty Woods Key can now be sold to NPCs for an increased price.
  • The Starling outfit can now be acquired from Trader Merchant NPC Mallang in Cold Storage for 200 Freezing Orbs.
• You can now hold up to 90,000 Zen Beans, Battle Points, and Celestial Peaches.
• Disconnecting from a 6v6 Battlegrounds match now deducts 30 rating, down from 60 rating.
• Fixed an issue where the Warlock skill Soulburn was incorrectly resetting skill cooldowns.
• Fixed and updated localization in English, German, and French.

 

Items

• The cost of the following items from Celestial Peach Exchanger NPC Lee Youjin in Celestial Basin has been reduced:
  • Xanos Disc
  • Forging Orb
  • Taikhan's Skin
  • Stone of Wisdom
  • Flower of Lament
• Locked Asura Weapon can now be purchased from Celestial Peach Exchanger NPC Lee Youjin in Celestial Basin.
• Increased the drop rate of Forging Orb from Naryu Foundry and Xanos Disc from Naryu Sanctum.
• Valor Stones have been removed from the game and have been replaced by Naryu Coin or Naryu Silver in recipes and Wheel rewards.
• Small Dragon Certificates can no longer be used and have been replaced in existing recipes by Dragon Certificate. Small Dragon Certificates can be sold via the Antiques menu.
• The following items are now bound to account:
  • Ocean Life Force
  • Deep Sea Kelp
  • Golden Honey
  • Fog Mushroom
  • Evil Spirit Root
  • Hongmoon Pellet
  • Retrieved Hongmoon Secret Technique - Volume 1

Equipment

• Raven Weapon Stage 7-9 now available.
  • These upgrades require Blackstone which is acquired from Irontech Forge.
• Dawnforged/Riftwalk Weapon Stage 4-6 now available.
• Ascendant Weapon Stage 1-6 now available.
  • Galaxy Weapon upgrades to Ascendant Weapon. These upgrades require Ascendance Stones which can be purchased for Zen Beans or Battle Points.
  • You can use Ivory Beluga Orbs to upgrade Ascendant Weapons for a reduced cost.  Ivory Beluga Orbs are obtainable for Battle Points from Battleground Trader NPCs.
• You can now use Smelting Orbs to upgrade Galaxy Weapons for a reduced cost.  Smelting Orbs are obtainable for Battle Points from Battleground Trader NPCs.
• Baleful/Seraph Weapon Stage 4-9 now grant increased skill damage for most classes.
• Beluga Soul Shields can now be purchased from Battleground Trader NPCs for Battle Points and Ascendance Stones.
  • Beluga Soul Shield Chest 4-8 require win achievements in Beluga Lagooon to purchase.
• Sacred Longgui Treasure Chests in Midnight Skypetal Plains can no longer drop Moonlight Soul Shield but now have an increased chance to drop Sacred Longgui Soul Shield Chest.
• Legendary Soul Badges are now available and can be created by combining two Heroic Soul Badges with a Transcendence Engine, which can be obtained from Irontech Forge. Only specific combinations are allowed and they are different for each class.
• Locked Draken Bracelet Chest can now be purchased for 200 Hand of Xanos tokens (acquired from Naryu Sanctum) in Dragon Express.

Soul

• Hongmoon Energy - Stage 10
  • Now when you upgrade Hongmoon Energy Stage 10 you have a random chance to receive either an Awakened Hongmoon Critical Energy – Stage 10 or the new Awakened Ascending Soul – Stage 10.
• Awakened/True Ascending Soul – Stage 10
  • This is a new Soul which provides a lesser effect than Awakened/True Hongmoon Energy, but with a much lower cooldown (8 seconds vs. 1 minute).
• Transcendent Soul
  • True Hongmoon Energy - Stage 10 now upgrades to Transcendent Soul (5 Stages), then Awakened Transcendent Soul (5 Stages), and finally True Transcendent Soul.
• Cosmic Soul
  • True Ascending Soul - Stage 10 upgrades to Cosmic Soul (5 Stages), then Awakened Cosmic Soul (5 Stages), and finally True Cosmic Soul.
  • Similarly, the Cosmic Souls have a lesser effect than Transcendent Souls, but with a much lower cooldown (8 seconds vs. 1 minute).
• Pristine Oil
  • Pristine Oil is a new item which is created through Transmutation for 1 Sacred Oil, 10 Void Fragment, and 5 Gold.
  • Pristine Oil is used to switch between the following Souls:
    • Awakened Hongmoon Critical Energy – Stage 10 <-> Awakened Ascending Soul – Stage 10
    • True Hongmoon Energy – Stage 10 <-> True Ascending Soul – Stage 10
    • Awakened Transcendent Soul <-> Awakened Cosmic Soul
    • True Transcendent Soul <-> True Cosmic Soul

Gems

• Obsidian Gems that provide bonuses to specific Elemental Damage are now available and can be obtained by exchanging Transcendence Engine and Void Fragments to Dragon Trader Hu Yangim in Celestial Basin.
• Gem types and qualities have been updated and previous gems have been marked with "Expired". This process is not automatic but instead is done through the Exchange Antiques menu. The stats provided by the gems will be the same, but you’ll have to do the exchange in order to transmute the gems in the future.
