Information Regarding Today's Specials and Special Hongmoon EXP Charm - Updated on 4/19

We've identified an issue with the Special Hongmoon EXP Charms that were in Today's Specials recently in the Hongmoon Store. Stay tuned as we’ll provide more information next week after we have completed our investigation.

 

We also understand that Today's Specials can be a little confusing at first, so we'll be posting more in-depth information on how the system works in the future as well as look into ways to improve the user interface. Last week we became aware that the Special Hongmoon EXP Charms available in the new Today’s Specials feature were unintentionally able to be purchased in unlimited amounts. This led to players being able to buy Hongmoon experience far beyond anything we intended, and in a few cases even cap out their level—something that’s intentionally a very long term progression goal.

After careful review of the Special Hongmoon EXP Charms that were sold last week in Today’s Specials, we’ve come to the conclusion that we’ll be removing all experience points that were earned from the purchased charms, and refunding the purchases.

To help us process the refunds we’ll be removing any unused Special Hongmoon EXP Charms from those who purchased charms from Today’s Specials during today’s maintenance regardless of how they were obtained. Then, as soon as possible we’ll be returning any Special Hongmoon EXP Charms earned outside of the Today’s Specials purchases to those players affected. We’re aiming to refund and remove the experience points gained through the Today’s Specials charms next week, so be on the lookout for more information at that time.
