Has the Hongmoon upgrade path for Maelstrom been removed? Or is this just a graphical bug on the Martial tome?

All the other skills that can seek further advancements through completing achievements have an icon displayed next to them. I'm curious if this update has changed the skill and if I should waste money on buying the Volume 2 Technique

It works normal for me. If you mouse over maelstrom you will see it's "basic" skill details. If you mouse over the book icon in its top left corner you'll see it's HM version.

Maelstorm now fully works without hm skill. Hm skil is just for vortex.
