Game won't start

Hey all!

 

I wanted to play some B&S again after some time so I encountered this annoying problem while trying to open my game:

 

 

Game stays like that forever. I did my research and seems like this was an older problem devices had a while back which was solved by updating the client which is done automatically so I have no idea why this persists.

 

Things I've tried so far:

- Re-Install - Repair the game

- Try different compatibility modes (you never know)

- Try both 32bit and 64 bit client

- Uninstall some programs that could be blocking the game (Malwarebytes and a few others just in case)

- Disable Firewall

 

Things I haven't tried:

- Contact support. I will along with this post dispatch an email on B&S support but those types of mails always take some time and users can probably help you faster.

 

Anyone that had this problem after the updates and can help?
