Main Quest chapter 28, quest npc disappears

During Chapter 28 in Cinderlands on the step

"Ask Chulu in the bokgon hideout about Muyong's Will"

 

The NPC Chulu is initially red, and turns green after taking some damage so you can speak to him. But it was possible to kill Chulu completely using a bomb, the corpse vanishes leaving no npc to talk to and progress the quest is stuck.

 

Using Escape causes the npc to respawn in it's initial red state so can try again.
