umm yeah I'm not sure how much crit defense you have but I'm gonna say its cause that person has Raven weapon, because this looks like the same thing that happened to me in 6v6. the raven weapon is super broken in 6v6 atm and just makes 6v6 even less fun then it already was before. like I have 2k crit and got beat just like you did. with all the whales having raven weapon and doing 6v6 now your gonna get 1-3 shooted like that most of the time now. my advice is to just stay away from 6v6 for the time being until they fix this OP raven weapon cause its just not even fair going up against people with it.

I actually know the BM in that video well, have played with and against him in 6v6 and he's got good ping, decent PvP technique and really high end gear.

 

1-5 Elder and 6-7 Sparring is paper against that (really 6-7? So not even the 3 set bonus?).

 

You need 3.5k+ crit def and 170k+ HP. Really high def might help since he uses Raven and not galaxy so might not have more than 3000 pierce. So high pet, at least 20 HM points in defense, top belt of course.

 

But that's about it defense-wise with gear. Rather, you need to get your iframes and PvP technique honed up, and strong gear to punish him once you have the upper hand. BM has become really punishing so I feel your pain of running into Raven BMs. But what you can do is get as dangerous as them yourself. Will take a lot of grinding, though...

There are clases that are 3-4 shotting me in arena matches on 1 vs 1...is this normal to?.... And another problem is i cant record them.....I use Radeon Relive and the matches are random color bricks on my screen (blured)...when i go in lobby the recorder is recording ok.

This error happened to me only to the op chars that 3-4 shotting me. That is strange.

In gear balanced 1v1 this would be rare, though with fast, especially anicancelled combos, it might look like you are 4-shotted where you are actually taking many more hits. Warlock and BD bursts can be like that.

That's about normal with the soul shields you have. Against high geared players they will delete you quickly. You need lots of crit defense and defense to survive. Try to save up BP and redeem galaxy fragments for the Legendary PvP SS. You'll notice a big difference.

Does gear matter in 1 vs 1 arena?
