Truephoenix
I have a good idea for the game, I think that you should be able to re-watch all of the cut-scenes somewhere in the Blade & Soul menu, think of all the benefits this has. You don't have to create a new character or account in order to watch them. You could just watch them whenever you feel like it, similar to how the cut-scenes in Elsword work. You'd also get to see your character(for the cut-scenes that your character is in) and essentially be able to watch the entire B&S story in a quite decent amount of time. This would also give Blade & Soul videos(Blade & Soul full movie/All cut-scenes) less views, other than the views from those who are either are just finding out about the game, or something like that. What do you think? I think it'd be really nice if you could watch all the cut-scenes whenever you feel like it, after the cut-scene plays, of course. Edensia
Well we got youtube for this. I would rather like an "skip cutscene" feature like Diablo 3 has. If you already saw the cutscene it will be skipped (not appear) automaticly (can be turned on/off). It is super annoying to always get stopped while running!. For example these cutscenes in dungeons where you always have to press ESC to skip it.

It gives youtubers free views and it's not even your character in the cutscenes. Besides, at least being able to watch all the cut-scenes in a simple menu means that they won't be watching them in the middle of a big raid boss fight,
Edensia
well I get your point. Everyone would be angry at the person who wants to watch the cutscene in a raid. An Theatre Mode would be cool, but I dont think it will happen sadly :(
Kazden
All NCSoft and the developers have to do is copy what Final Fanatasy XIV has done. They have an in game place you can go and view all cut scenes you have unlocked and watch them on your own time and see your character being a part of it. Nothing says they can't do it.... but do enough people want it to justify the development cost to put it in. I personally want it in the game. Shekinah
I'd also like to have this option. Some of the Story Cut-Scenes are well made and I'd really enjoy watching them again with my character. Something you can't do with youtube by the way. When you first meet the little Soyun in the Story, I aborted the quest afterwards to watch the sequence again because I happend to find it so adorable. And there are also many other great sequences: Hong casually destroying a mountain, the final battle at the end of act 4 or the death of Hayoon. We propably never get something like that but still: I'd like to have it.
paingwar
Totally agree with this! I'm kinda watching all the story again in youtube for a quick recap before new Act, but it's kinda boring cause i could only find videos with cutscenes and current gameplay together. Hope developer take in consideration this proposal!
821031_1452549945
tera also has the option to rewatch videos i dont think it would be too difficult to implement system like this
Phaos
I would love if there was an option do disable cutscenes inside dungeons, cuz every single bloody time they pop, and in dungeons like Asura you are having your ass kicked by thousand mobs while the cutscene pop up ¬¬
Kaigame
The amount of dungeons i've done and haven't seen the cutscenes, it's a shame, considering the time and effort to attempt to tell the story, and using my character. Everyone is in such a rush to continue, i would love an option to rewatch them(with my character) for any dungeons that my character has completed. J2Xcentric
The option to watch a cutscene from the character select menu is a fantastic idea. Let the player relive the story.

Ilka
+1 want it too! I really love the game story and is better to watch it with my character than a random guy on youtube. I hope they can add an option to watch all unlocked cinematics
Nyaha
+1 want it. Youtube is an option but not really - you can't see your character in those videos and this is kinda breaking it. So it's more like a last resort.
Gennady
It would be great feature for those who just want to re-watch them of for those who never played B&S and used 50level voucher. Also, it would be great to re-watch cutscenes from dungeons that you already cleared. Because now you have no chance to watch them (as your party will rush straight to boss). "We have YouTube". Yes, but having such feature in the game is much better - you don't need to search on YT, and you will see your character in cutscenes. I'd love to see this implemented. hwalien
finished act 7 on 5 characters out of 9. like an idiot, I've press "ESC" right after the last fight on all. I'm about to pull my esc button off of my keyboard.
ShuJ
Please make this possible, I always want to see My own characters in those scenes again, it's like watching a movie and I am the main character :D
Yndril
Would also like this option, taht way I can see the cutscene with many different clothes and take tons of screenshots.... but I doubt they'll implement it, just because the sheer amount of coding. newbiez
i like this idea...i wanna see my own char on it not others ppl char and i would love to record it for memories....example the scene before and after battle with jinsoyun

Coding...they already have cutscene triggers...they already have preset animations that use your current model...the only thing they would need to code is buttons and add them somewhere in the menu... anon753159
I would like to see NPC's placed in various villages who ask you to share a tale from your adventures. One could be an old man, a young child excited to meet a hero, a group of your fans (maybe the fighters who keep begging you to train them), two or three of your allies sharing war stories, etc. Then you would choose a particular quest and choose to view scene or replay it and triggering the cinematics along the way. I know it's not the same as just having a library of cutscenes but there are some quests that I enjoyed a lot and there are some scenes that inviove an NPC and some dialogue but which isn't a cutscene. The Heaven's Reach quests when you first discover Bunyang and Bunah are scamming people to train in the Hongmoon arts is fun but there are no cinematics involved. The dialogue between the 3 sages when they are trying to open the entrance to the dungeon where you have the showdown with Lusung is another example of what I'm talking about. I was very fond of Hajoon so being able to replay the training quests would be a nice way to revisit him. No matter how it's done, I vote for some kind of cutscene library too. Let me clarify for you, code is a string of characters that execute a series of commands to the CPU. We have triggers, but we do not know how they work, but they are also code that's for sure, and as we've seen, copy pasta doesn't always work that well... They would also have to name each cutscene (not really coding, but a lot of work, there is a lot of cutscenes to name), even if they follow a standard format "viridian coast 1-100" it would take some time to fix and then double check. If they didn't have to name the cutscenes it would be quick enough, extract a list and do a for loop, but then we'd end up with names that have no meaning like maybe "CS92204VC3817" or whatever naming convention they have internally for those cutscenes (not unlikely korean). There is also no guarantee those cutscenes are added in order, so you might end up with some random cinderlands cutscenes while watching a couple of viridian coast cutscenes, or get cutscenes that are not in the game yet (only in KR) or was removed (but still remain in the code). They would probably need to do a new database for the cutscenes to fill in the triggers and names to use. It's not "just add a few buttons", adding something in a game is always going to be a lot of hard work. 3 hours ago, Gennady said: I never worked in game development, but I think so too. Always assume that adding something to a game is going to be much harder and take much longer than you as a non-developer assume.

I am a developer. Just not a game developer. I understand that I don't how this project's structure looks like and I understand that unexpected problems may occur in process of development (happens to me a lot, I'm always too positive in my estimates). But this feature doesn't like to me harder to implement than skill revamp or adding a new class. NCSoft has a great experience in game development after all, so I expect their code to be well-organized (so, problems with cutscenes order or names theoretically shouldn't exist). And if developers would say "oh, this is too much coding" to any feature request, we wouldn't see any new game and old projects will just die.
