Or... you could make Zawei Ruins a DC again.  That worked well with HM

Stick Zaiwei Ruins and Grimhorn Wilds back on the dc in place of Blackram Narrows and Tomb of Exiles, problem solved. As a bonus, they should have the scale fragments drop from doing Mandate so you can recoup some of the scale back if you used it also.

I dont know how many threads have asked them so far to bring Zaiwei Ruins (which doesnt take that long at all to do, since spawning the bosses is very straightforward) back into the daily challenge JUST ONCE A WEEK, so we can get scales, evolved stones, stingers, a wonderful outfit, good experience and two good achievements. 

No one is gonna buy a scale for 5 gold in the market to receive in exchange a couple of feathers, a stinger and the remote chance to get the hongmoon duster in case you are an alt or a new player still after it. And that if the rest of the party don't bid on your scale.

You have to pay twice to use this zone, if you use resets. The rewards are usually garbage. At least with CS you can get two bosses AND an orb, or two, back each time.

While we're at the ranting for dumbest daily challenge scheduling decisions, why the **** did you guys at NC remove Talus Dungeon from the daily challenge when you have to do it for your damned hongmoon skill achievement!?! Either put it back on there or move the requirement to Shrieking Caverns since that's the only damned blue dungeon you left on there! D:<

Zaiwei in Daily schedule should be obvious. The current schedule seems to make very little sense.

 

However, the whole scale thing is something players actually can do itself, by making a collective decision to go to Zaiwei, lets say exactly a hour after every Grand Harvest Square event.

 

Even if only small percentage of online players would do it, it should require no more than only 20-30 players to do it fast enough.

It's a pity, but people refuse to do any content that isn't on the daily challenge list or has a material they need for upgrading their stuff. It takes getting the ball rolling before other people will even join and getting it rolling in the first place is a huge pain for any group smaller than 12... clans could set it up easily, but they aren't concerned enough to bother doing that content either since it's not relavent enough for them... so we go in a big pointless circle.

The difference is that NC has declared Grimhorn Wilds and Zaiwe Ruins as "old content" in one of their streams a while back before they took them out of the Daily Challenge rotation.

 

Relying on "old content" for use of current content doesn't make much sense.

I see what you're saying, lots of things are still needed in the "old content".   Though, you gota draw the line somewhere.  How about it be drawn at enabling the dungeon?

 Calling these places old content is bull****! If it's unnecessary than move the stuff we need out of it. Talus Dungeon is needed for every class hongmoon skill achievement and yet no one does the damn place. Brightstone Ruins for another hongmoon skill, Chuanka Frost Cavern for the King weapon for people upgrading their weapon...

 

And yet they left crap like Ebon Hall which drops absolutely nothing of value, Tomb of the Exiles and Blackram Narrows which aren't even level 45+ dungeons and absolutely worthless for 50s and Bloodshade Harbor/Blackram Supply Chain which can also be skipped completely in favor of going straight to Silverfrost content... I. call. Bull****. on whoever called these places irrelevant . /ragerantdone
