Mithrir
So, hey everyone. I played so little of this game back when it came out (got to level 15-20 or something) cause i was working at the time and had so little time, so i'm basically a new dude. Started out 3 days ago, with a FM. I'm now at lvl 50, finished the story and got all those free purples lvl 45 gear (including the new Ivorymoon weapon) and standing at 428 AP, if that helps. but the thing is, i'm feeling completely lost at what to do and what to aim for at the moment. Should i be running dungeons? Is there any free gear i'm missing at lvl 50, wich can improve my stats? How should i be making my money, as a fresh lvl 50? Apparently i need to get soulstones to upgrade my weapon, but don't know if i missed the soulstones explanation, cause i have completely no clue where to farm/get them? I've been trying to see a few guides, but with this new "streamline weapons" patch, most of them are outdated and kinda confused me even further. Also a few of them, mentioned alot that you should definitely find/make friends in this game, that could carry you through the first "push" as a fresh level 50? Is that really necessary? Happy gaming everyone.
Yun Hwah
Hi Mithrir! Welcome back! I think standing at AP 428 is just about right depending on your gear. I'm fairly new to the game too (I still have lots to learn), but I think I may be able to answer some of your questions. Depending on your HM level I think you're AP is pretty good if you are fresh off the boat (HM 1 ish to 2). Since you said you just finished the story line so I'll assume that you are sitting at about 50 HM 2. If you're feeling lost: That's aye okay! Since you're done with the story line, this is the time to start doing dungeons, raids, and doing dailies to earn HM exp to level up. This is the time to start mingling around with clan mates and faction mates and get to know them :D I'm not sure how the new update effected the Hongmoon Accessories, but if you still have Awakened Siren accessories, I suggest you continue upgrading them. Do Bloodshade harbor and Nightshade harbor in hopes of pirate accessory drops to upgrade your awakened sirens. You can purchase pirate accessories with pirate emblems you get from daily runs in the two dungeons. Collect items to upgrade your ivorymoon weapon by doing: Avalanche Den (HM 2)Awakened Necropolis (HM2): for scorpio weapon drop for weapon upgrade from Awakened Ivorymoon Stage 10 to True Ivorymoon Stage 1.***Plus, soul shields here give good crits and HPHeaven's Mandate (HM2): ***need ivory dragon scale to access Jinsoyeon - but this dungeon drops (Naryu tablet - you'll need for future upgrade, feather, frozen stinger etc. You can trade 250 feather for Hongmoon energy which gives you +15 AP at stage 1)Lair of the Frozen Fang (HM2) ***You can do higher level dungeons too if you're comfortable *** Upgrading your gear (as you probs know) will help with increasing AP MAKING MONEY: Crafting items and selling can bring in some good income! Doing dailies (silverfrost dailies give about 30-40 silver each, daily dungeons give about 1 gold) Selling things you get as drops from dungeons SOULSTONES: Depending on what faction you're in and how active your faction is a farming Soul Stone Plains (SSP) you can get Soulstones from there Doing Faction dailies in: Mistywoods and Moonwater Hogshed area awards good amount of soulstones (*about 14 in total) ***These faction dailies you can solo *You can also buy soulstones from Market place MAKE FRIENDS: Not a bad idea to make friends :D Join a Clan: it gives you upgrade discounts and you can mingle around and get help with dungeons and dailies! Clan mates are great people to help you learn dungeon mechanics too! Happy Gaming!
Hinu
For a more simplified way to explain things ; You'll be upgrading all your gear in order rather than binge upgrade (focus) on one item like weapon, for example. Bracelet>Soul shield>earring>Ring>Weapon etc in no particular order. You can skip belt for a while since it only gives minimal defensive stats Do open dailies in silverfrost (any you come across that doesn't look like a huge waste of time like having to kill 100 mobs in 24m zone, etc) i recommend most around silverstone range or whatever the name is (top zones of the silverfrost mountain map) Do 6 man purples(tho avoid Ebondrake Citadel,Naryu Foundry and Desolate tomb for now) ,you could try doing some blues to farm silverfrost dew but those are hardly pugged in f8 nowaday. Getting into an active clan/running with friends will however fix that problem. Naturally, look up guides to dungeons you are about to do(purples) tho keep in mind that most mechanics will be either skipped or sped up with raw dps and i really mean it. After a bit, you'll also gain money from peoples bidding on items. Once you feel like it,start bidding yourself on the items to upgrade your gear. Keep up with BNS news and events with, most of the time, free rewards and your good to go P.S: When you are comfortable with your damage/mechanics. Consider buying yourself a pet and upgrade it past stage 6. Gives a huge boost in defense.

Shuchin
this can also be a good time to think about what kind of endgame style you would like to pursue. The most mainstream variants are: Socializer: You have a steady group of friends and/or clan that you regularly run stuff with. You do not really mind what you do as long as you do it together. PvE Heroes: You try to "win" the game by mastering all its content. The cheesy variant is that you try to get the best gear possible at date, the hardcore one is that you try to be among the first to complete the newests and hardest raids. Both variants take up a surprising amount of time and require a lot of effort. PvP Master: Gear balanced 1v1 and 3v3 are your staples. You spend hours in arena to "get good". If you PvE, then only to relax or to get you those few extras you need to not be disadvantaged in 6v6. You sign up for Rumble in the Realm to get those 600 bucks. ;) Costume / event fanatic: Whatever the latest "thing", you got to have it. Farming gold for HM coin or running the event dungeons until unconsciousness, all the nicest fashion and the newest gem will be yours. Alt lover: You have the maximum character slots and you need them! Not only do you love to run the story line again and again, but also you know all the classes in the game, their skills and play style, party roles and you enjoy them all. The collector: Maybe you are just after collecting all the titles, maybe you want to reach the highest achievement score ever, or maybe you want to farm all the costumes in the game. Of course many people lie somewhere in between several of these. This is just to give you ideas. ^_^
