Cannot turn the camera left in 64bit client (+workaround that sort of works for me)

..or rather, I can - but with severe hindrances. Every time I turn the camera left, the game will stutter as if having FPS lag, except.. it isn't. Simultaneously with the stuttering, my mouse cursor and the 3 dots at the bottom left corner of the minimap show up, as if I were pressing Alt, except I'm not. It also happens when I try to turn the camera view upwards. Never when I turn it to the left or downwards though. It doesn't occur while having a window open and holding RMB to turn. It also never happens with the 32bit client. I can deal with it in PVE, but it makes PVP impossible.

Edit: Not only does the mouse cursor show up, but it switches to the windows version as if it were going out of bounds of the game window - although I'm running it in fullscreen. It always happens, whether turning the camera, moving cursor there while holding Alt or moving it while having an in-game window open. This does not happen in the 32bit client.

While I could just keep playing with the 32bit version, I'd rather it be fixed in the 64bit as well, since I get about 20-30% more FPS out of the 64bit, stutter-free (except for that turning-left thing ofcourse). I'm not entirely sure whether it is a bug or not, but since it only happens with the 64bit client, I can only assume that it IS something that  was overlooked. Then again, I'm not seeing any other current reports on such an issue.. *sigh*

It would appear there's been such problems in the past (around the launch time) with the 32bit client:

(I myself did not experience such at the time, however)

Disabling my antivirus for a minute or two didn't change a thing. And as far as I know, nothing should be encrypting my keystrokes. So the few fixes suggested in the last thread are of no help for me.

Another thing relevant to that thread: I am using Windows 10 as well.

And no, trying to run the 64bit client in compatibility modes for older windows versions does not help at all. Instead, all of those have a negative effect on my FPS and loading times.

Edit:

This problem existed both before and after the hotfix. Also, one of my friends does have the same issue on her 2nd computer. I've yet to ask her for the stats to compare.

WORKAROUND:

The problem seems to have something to do with the screen resolution. Playing around with it seems to do the trick. I have the issue when My screen resolution is at 1980x1020 (native res for my screen), and the 64bit client is at the same or lower res with same aspect ratio. But if I switch my display resolution to 1600x900 (ew, ugleh, feelsbadman sort of blur), the problem does not occur, no matter what res I set the client to.

Now if I could play the game at my native resolution without resorting to turning everything into ugly annoying blur, that would be great.

Unrelated observation:

My loading times in 64bit client seem to be slightly longer - however I nolonger get loading screens at certain places (e.g. before the Widows in BSH, or right before facing off Mujin in Shattered Masts).
