Client (GameGuard?) interfers with Browser+AdBlock (UBlock)

Since today´s update, the client will not load when i am surfing on my Chromium Browser (Vivaldi stable release) plus UBlock Origin the same time.

The mouse will go into loading animation, GameGuard will launch, but the game splash screen will not appear - forever. If i relaunch, i get a "client already open" error message. Also, if i close and re-open the browser then i will get a message "UBlock origin has crashed click to recover" - but the browser won´t load anymore either. Only a reboot (on which the machine waits a bit for an unnamed background process to close) helps in this case.

 

The other way round i also have issues: If i ALT+TAB from inside the game, i cannot open the browser, UBlock will crash, browser won´t open.

 

If i tab to an already opened browser process - i can load the game if the opened browser isnt doing anything - i cannot open web pages: The browser will load forever and eventually crash. And it will not be able to recover, again with the "UBlock origin has crashed..." message.

 

This has never happened to me before the latest patch. I never encountered any issues with UBlock before. I suspect GameGuard being the cause?

 

System:

CoreI7-6700k, Win7 x64 SP1, latest updates, fresh installation, no additional background software running
