How to complete Blackram south anchor quest

The last bit of the campaign to kill wungsam I got him to half health but then my HP was at like 5 so in the interest of self preservation I ran away and healed cos I had no potions but when I went back wungsam had been killed but the campaign didn't update so I'm wondering what do I do?
