Bd can use divine retribution in combat?

You probably ran into a bot. Divine retribution can only be used out of combat stance and in the air, for both Blade Dancers, and Blade Masters.

ur both wrong, thats not divine retribution, but dive bomb skill, that u can use on kd targets, it either breaks def or speeds up sunder

The effect sure looks like Divine Retribution to me. It also inflicted stun on him if you didn't notice (and it's not the stun from the previous pic, it was taken 2 seconds later)

Well it was 1 second and divine ret can be used in combat but u need to have a high enough jump to be able to glide. But by the looks of it he kd him then stunned and if u look at the graphic under his arms it appears he managed to exploit bds out of combat glitch and windstride jump glide or w.e the hell then use divine. But there's also that first icon which i believe is cancels defensive skill which would be from dive bomb. But that skill is definitely divine ret cuz dive bomb is on target divine is under you and leaves an aoe like lightning, dive bomb doesn't

Divine retributiom CAN be used in combat, but you have to be flying which is hard since you can't jump high when you're in combat.

 

But the picture shows another skill called Divebomb. If it was a pre-stratus patch there was another spec that was an AoE divebomb that dealt damage everywhere.
